Apollo & His Team Outmatch The Engineer’s Soldiers. Conrad Escapes After Getting Infected.
The Apollo 5 holds off Selene and Orcus’ groups. Eros escapes with Kali as Apollo takes on Selene and Orcus. Eros bumps into Dylan his former protege and they get into it after Kali runs to safety.
Juno holds her own against some goons and ends up dealing with Reya (Selene’s top lackey). When she seems outmatched, Venus backs her up and gúñs down Reya in the heat of the moment. Eros duels with Dylan and easily bests him. He pulls his gúñ on him and orders him to close his eyes.
When he does so, he slips away. In an interesting turn of events, Selene decides to disappear with Dylan and leave Orcus in the dust so that she doesn’t also face the Engineer’s wrath for Orcus’ failed operation.
Apollo pursues Orcus and blindsides him. He holds him at güñpoint and the former boss begins to put on such a ridiculous act after being stroke in the face. Orcus pulls a fast one and flees and Apollo let’s him escape. Later, the team regroup and Kali tells them about the symptoms of the Hyperion virus.
Karen starts to come down with a fever and when Conrad tries to get close to her, she pushes him away and begins blabbering about how she’s infected. Kali shows up and calls out to her sister from the outside. They talk through the door barrier.
Karen is devastated when she learns that she doesn’t have the vaccine. While Apollo and the others stand guard in the compound, Kali apologizes and promises to get the vaccine for her sister. Conrad seems as clueless as ever.
Priam updates the Tish representative about the plan to dominate Argovia. Orcus reports to Priam and blabbers about how he had supposedly dealt with Pretty Boy in spite of failing at the objective and the Engineer rewards him with a bag of money for his troubles.
Juno has a talk with Venus about her true feelings for Pretty Boy. When Conrad comes outside, Kali tries to reason with him not to leave for Argovia but he blows her off, to hell with the virus thrëât.
Eros suggests an effective but brutal way to solve their problem – to k!ll Karen and Conrad.
Kali lashes out at him, and so does Venus and Juno. Poseidon however agrees with Eros’ suggestion for the greater good. Apollo declares that he would uphold his promise to protect the innocent no matter what.
Priam tells Nyx about why he hadn’t let Selene handle the Iron Heart project. In the meantime, Apollo brings Kali to see Penelope and an associate of hers to replicate the vaccine for the Hyperion virus.
Eros talks to Juno about the incident earlier, stating that he’s no madman and only k!lls for a reason. Juno acknowledges his goodwill and he finally comes clean about what happened with Hermes. He apologizes, saying that he had merely been defending himself.
Juno urges him to keep up the good fight if he wants her forgiveness. Menandro calls Eros on the phone to inform him of his plan to transfer Karen and Conrad to a safe facility tomorrow where they wouldn’t be able to infect anyone else.
Speaking of, Karen gets worked up to realize that her boyfriend has started showing symptoms of the virus earlier than expected. She tries in vain to convince him to stay and get treated. Conrad slips out of the house through the window and escapes on his motorbike and Juno goes after him.
In his rush, the guy knocks down some foodstuffs a neighbor of his had been carrying. He stops to help pick them up and ends up sneezing in her face. As Juno closes in, Conrad gets on his motorbike and off he goes.
Juno takes cover once she notices Romulo lurking nearby. Romulo spots Conrad and begins to tail him. Juno calls Eros on the phone to notify him and he in turn asks Menandro for backup.
After asking Juno to notify Apollo, Eros heads to the highway to cut off Conrad’s ride to the airport. Romulo updates the Engineer through Nyx and they’re glad to see that everything is going according to plan.
