Camila’s Secret Past Unfolds as Emma Infiltrates the Dela Torre Mansion
The episode begins at a casino filled with card games and illegal dealings. Camila paces around tensely and followed a woman into the washroom where she encountered her weeping uncontrollably. Camila offered her a lifeline saying she had a way out.
The woman lamented losing everything but Camila suggested she could use her car as collateral but feeling sorry Camilla asked her to leave. Afterwards, Camila faced her boss who was displeased with her failure to strip the woman of her remaining assets after another employee who overheard them in the washroom tipped of the boss.
Furious, he branded Camilla a traitor and subjected her to a brutal beating. While enduring the pain, she drifted into memories of her past the false accusations, the painful loss of Vida, and the torment that followed.
She later confided in Emma explaining that the torture and her inability to meet her boss’s demands forced her to vanish. Emma’s heart sank with sympathy. Camila revealed a tattoo a mark belonging to the man responsible for her suffering. She believed someone in her family was orchestrating her downfall.
Meanwhile Manay Ichu lay awake restless and plagued by eerie voices. She questioned whether allowing Emma to stay at the Dela Torre mansion was the right decision. Protecting her wasn’t easy and at that moment Guada seemed like the only person capable of keeping Emma safe.
She looked at Camila’s photograph and whispered that Emma wasn’t the only one willing to listen. She too was ready and asked Camila to speak to her. Camila urged Emma to stay close to the Dela Torres and win their trust believing it was the only way to uncover the truth behind the person who orchestrated her downfall.
Emma brought up Mr Manolo’s heart attack blaming herself but Camila reassured her that Vito had already taken care of the hospital expenses. When Emma asked how she knew Camila asked her whether she wore the wedding dress or poured blood into it. Emma denied both.
That wasn’t your fault so stop dwelling on Manolo she told her firmly. This is only the beginning and you’re already breaking down. Camila warned her not to let emotions take over since weakness could be fatal. What was the first lesson I gave you Camila asked. If I appear weak they will destroy me Emma replied softly.
A flashback showed Fabio defending Camila and confronting the boss who had abused her. Camila vowed not to be a victim again. Under Fabio’s training she became stronger sharper and eventually returned to face her tormentor.
Her boss acknowledged her talent saying she only needed proper motivation. Camila hardened herself and became more ruthless working hard to gain the boss’s approval. Eventually she was placed in charge of the syndicate’s finances after he discovered her gift for numbers.
The boss believed she was under his control but Camila was silently planning her rise. She refined her skills even in firearms. When he tried to take advantage of her Camila fought back revealing she had stolen all his money without him noticing. In the scuffle she shot him. Camila and Fabio then took over as leaders of the syndicate.
In the present Camila reminded Emma to be wary of everyone and trust no one. From the start I was preparing you to become like me she admitted. Emma thanked her and pledged to find the person among the Dela Torres who bore the tattoo and started the haunting events. Go back before they notice you’re gone Camila warned. And don’t disappoint me
Meanwhile Vito met with his investigator again seeking answers about Emma’s background. The investigator confirmed she was telling the truth but Vito remained skeptical. He suspected someone was feeding her information possibly the same person behind Javier’s accident and Camila’s supposed death.
At breakfast in the Dela Torre mansion Alice asked how Emma slept. Emma replied that she had a good night beside Guada who then told her to call her grandma. Argu the maid arrived and was shocked to see Emma.
She dropped a plate and began stirring trouble insinuating that Emma’s presence would only bring more misfortune. Guada defended Emma calling her granddaughter and silencing Argu’s insults. Emma apologized for her loss and humbly picked up the broken shards.
Argu then ran to the kitchen and warned the other maids about Emma calling her eyes evil. She secretly contacted Camila who now goes by the name Alba revealing that Emma was living in the mansion and that Guada had claimed her as a granddaughter. Camila phoned Fabio and reminded him of his mission to protect Emma from within the house.
Fabio was working undercover as the mansion’s driver. Camila later visited Jacobo’s grave. She expressed gratitude for his unwavering love and promised vengeance on those who betrayed her. I loved you deeply she whispered and I regret never telling you in time. But I’ll make them pay for what they did
Suddenly Vito appeared trying to approach her. But before he could reach her someone distracted him giving Camila the chance to escape. He only found another woman holding an umbrella and realized he had lost her once again.
Guada later took Emma to the plantation for a tour. Emma almost said she used to ride horses there but quickly corrected herself saying it was Camila who did. Guada shared how things fell apart after Camila’s death blaming Luciano for mismanaging the estate. Workers approached and asked her to remove Emma saying she was cursed.
Emma was reminded of her childhood days when she was taught by another street child how to beg using fake tears to gain sympathy and money. Emma resisted saying her mother would come back for her. But her friend scoffed saying her mother had abandoned her. When Emma refused to play along her friend left.
Emma wandered, begging, but no one gave her anything. Desperate, she threw herself in front of a moving car and pretended to be hurt. A woman stepped out—and it was Camila. Camila handed her money and said Next time, point to where it hurts, whether your stomach or your leg. Emma stared at her wide-eyed, shocked at her strange mix of kindness and cunning.
