Emma’s Torment and Elias’s Dilemma
Emma confided in Elias, telling him that no one believed her claims of possession. She asked him directly if he did. Elias recalled what Luna had previously said—that Vito had a secret room where he went to cry. Luna warned him that if they weren’t careful, Emma would seduce Vito. She misunderstood Elias’s concern as him defending Emma.
Elias admitted that he never believed in ghost possessions, yet when he turned to Emma, he told her he believed her story. Elsewhere, Luciano reprimanded his investigator, who had confirmed that all of Emma’s claims about her identity were indeed true. Guada, who overheard their conversation, urged Luciano to finally accept the truth about Emma.
At Dako Paroon, Manay Ichu asked Tsoknat and Iking where Emma was. They said she was with Elias in his garden. Guada warned Luciano that if anything happened to Emma, she would hold him responsible. Later, Manay Ichu sternly warned Emma to stay away from Elias and to avoid the Dela Torres and Dela Cuestas, or she would be forced to leave Dako Paroon.
While Elias was having a meal with his parents, Luna arrived, drunk and playing loud music in her car. Elias’s father offered to take her home, but Luna insisted on Elias driving her instead. On the way, Luna expressed frustration over Elias avoiding her, reminiscing about how close they once were. She accused Emma of coming between them and asked Elias to be her boyfriend, claiming he just hadn’t realized his feelings for her yet.
Elias helped her into the car, but before getting in, he hesitated. His father noticed and asked what he was thinking. Elias responded, “Dad, if you tell a little lie to catch a liar, does that make you a liar too?” His father reassured him, reminding him how much Elias despised dishonesty, and encouraged him to eat instead. He took Luna home himself.
That night, as an eclipse loomed over the sky, Emma experienced another nightmare and woke up terrified. Manay Ichu also woke, disturbed by strange noises. Meanwhile, Andres, the town’s so-called spiritualist, was performing a ritual with leaves when his phone rang. It was revealed that Luciano had paid him to humiliate Emma and drive her out of Las Espadas, promising a reward for her success.
The next day, Emma and Tsoknat went to the market, only to be met with hostility. Vendors scattered, waving leaves meant to expel evil. They accused Emma of harboring a malevolent spirit, forcing her to leave. As she walked home, Luna and her group arrived, encircling her with their car. They mocked and manhandled her, calling her a con artist. Suddenly, Emma became possessed, smiling eerily as she approached Luna.
“How is your father doing, Luna?” she asked.
“Did he ever tell you about me?”
“Did he tell you what a passionate love affair he and Aunt Camila had?”
“Does your mother ever get jealous of me?”
Luna stood frozen, filled with rage and disbelief. Her friends recoiled, frightened by the unsettling aura around Emma.
Elsewhere, Andres chanted again, trying to uncover the true identity of the force haunting Emma. He concluded that a man was behind her misfortunes. Manay Ichu confronted him, accusing him of being a fraud and misleading the town. Andres argued that he was protecting Las Espadas and hinted that influential people supported his actions. Manay Ichu demanded to know who they were.
Back on the streets, Luna slapped Emma and told her no one would ever believe her. Emma, hurt and confused, asked why Luna hated her so much despite having done nothing to her. Luna warned her again to leave the town. One of the boys threatened her, saying they weren’t done having fun. Just then, Elias arrived. Seeing the commotion, he asked what was happening. Luna and her group feigned innocence, claiming they were just making friends.
Elias didn’t buy it and took Emma away, driving her back to Dako Paroon. Emma thanked him, but Elias coldly told her to stop pretending and to quit using Camila’s name. He called her an impostor. Emma became defensive, and Elias admitted that he had only played along to discover her intentions.Emma got out of the car. Elias followed, and they argued.
She challenged him, asking if he thought she enjoyed the chaos in her life. If she could stop it, she said, she would. Elias accused her of manipulating the town and angling for the Dela Torre fortune. Emma retorted, saying she never asked for money, refused Guada’s offer to move into the mansion, and clarified that Vito approached her first.
As they quarreled, Luis arrived and said Guada wanted to see Emma. Emma declined, saying Manay Ichu advised her to focus on work. Luna, meanwhile, confronted Elias for humiliating her in front of their friends. He snapped back that they were her friends, not his. Though he still saw Emma as a fake, he believed Luna had no right to mistreat her.
Back at the Dela Torre residence, Luis told Guada that Emma was unavailable. Guada was disappointed, and Luis warned her that Elias seemed to be growing closer to Emma and to the Dela Cuestas. Felipe tried to plant seeds of doubt in Guada’s mind, but she didn’t fall for it. Later, the family posed for a photo together.
At Dako Paroon, Manay Ichu confessed to Emma that her nightmares made her feel Camila’s presence and that she wanted to protect Emma—something she failed to do for Camila when she was alive. While transporting a corpse, a woman named Argu saw Emma and begged her to tell Camila to lift the curse from the plantation. Argu wailed that her son had done nothing wrong to deserve death.
Others tried to calm her, but her cries echoed the pain many felt since Camila’s death. Meanwhile, Vito visited Javier’s grave. He mentioned that the orphanage Emma claimed to come from had no record of her. Suspicious, he decided to investigate further in the city, sensing he was close to discovering the truth.
Back at Dako Paroon, Emma applied makeup to a corpse with Iking’s help. Suddenly, she was alone. As she searched for Iking, a corpse opened its eyes. She saw shadows and strange happenings—doors creaking, caskets opening. Terrified, she ran and cried to Camila’s portrait, begging for peace. The voice in her head kept chanting, “Do it, do it, do it!” Her bed shook violently, and she gasped for breath at her window.
Later, she told Tsoknat that Camila wanted her to get closer to the Dela Torres to find answers to an unresolved mission. Meanwhile, Intoy kept teasing Elias, asking if Emma was his girlfriend. Elias denied it, saying Emma knew he didn’t trust her. He told Intoy to follow him to deliver flowers to one special woman in his life. They went to the cemetery—there, Elias found Emma.
