Trouble Brews As The Estrellas Help Paco With His Mayoral Campaign. Drew Strives To Uncover The Person Behind The Threat Against Their Family.
The episode begins with Paco and Dave talking about the blackmailing email the former had received. Paco assumes that their father was the one who k!lled Panyong. He worries about what could happen once Cherry finds out the truth. Dave states that they must protect their secret at all costs.
A moment later, Drew is unnerved to hear about the incident. Dave insinuates that one of the people who had helped to cover up Panyong’s dëâth might be behind it. Paco kicks off his campaign with the support of his family and friends.
Coleen decides to tag along with her husband, probably to keep an eye on him. However, Seb manages to lose her and make out with Florabelle in a van. Dave and Cherry take turns to address the people and urge them to vote for Paco.
At the ranch, Drew desperately goes through some files on the former employees in an attempt to identify the blackmailer. Tori sees Ramon, her father’s file among the lot and Drew lies through his teeth when she asks what he’s up to.
Drew gets himself drunk and wasted at a bar. Tori laments about knowing his dirty secret and the fact that she’s starting to fall for him in spite of everything. The blackmail email is traced to an internet cafe and Paco has the place raided.
They review the CCTV footage but unfortunately, the culprit’s face isn’t caught on camera.Speaking of, Mama Earl reprimands Tori and urges her to see through their plan against the Estrellas. While Dave and Cherry campaign for Paco, a disgruntled citizen gives them trouble.
Cherry asks Dave about the blackmail incident, having overheard Paco talking to the governor about it earlier. Dave plays dumb obviously.Paco goes to see the governor to seek his help and the guy counsels him on how to win the people over.
When Cherry gets home, she asks Paco about the blackmail and catches him in a lie. She urges him not to let politics change him. Seb reflects on how he had won Coleen over from the beginning.
He’s horrified when Florabelle suddenly shows up with some lasagna and puts on a show of befriending his wife. Meanwhile, Mama Earl lashes out at Tori for failing to follow up on the blackmail. She reminds her of what the Estrellas had done to her father after he followed their orders.
