Paco Gets Hurt In His Quest To Uncover The Truth Behind His Family & Cherry’s. Cherry Gives Seb A Stern Warning About His Infidelity.
Paco goes through the archives in the basement, still bothered over the contents of the strange letter. He’s taken by surprise to confirm his mother’s handwriting from an old letter he finds there. He then finds some documents and a news article about the unfortunate fate of Cherry’s mother (Heidi).
Paco dismisses Drew when he walks in on him pilfering through the old files. In no time, he connects the dots and realizes that Emilio had gotten rid of Heidi so he could take over her land.
Paco begins to suspect that Dave had insisted on giving Cherry the farm because he knows something about what their father had done. Dave goes to see Becca at their resort, and much to her delight, he tells her that he’s moving in with her for good since their house is too overcrowded.
At the office, Paco tells Dave that they need to talk about something important. However, before he can get into it, he receives word that Lando has resurfaced. Paco goes to the livelihood center and makes a pathetic attempt to get the letter from the vagabond. He resists and runs off.
Cherry Red is deeply affected with Seb’s infidelity and she strives to deal with the matter while Seb uses sweet gestures on Coleen to hide his secret. Paco goes to where Lando lives and asks him about the letter and where he had gotten it. The vagabond blabbers incoherently about a cliff and a corpse.
When Paco urges him to reveal where the letter is, Lando gets aggressive and stabs him in his side. Cherry confronts Seb over his infidelity and serves him a warning even as he tries to play dumb. Paco lies through his teeth when he’s asked of what happened to him.
Later at home, he asks his wife what she remembers about her mother. Cherry notes that she had died in a supposed accidental fire. Recalling how Carol’s letter had stated that Emilio was behind it, Paco urges that they should have her father’s case reinvestigated. Drew overhears the conversation and retreats in a daze.
