A Heavy Loss Hits Alexa’s Group In Their Fight For Justice. While Aidan Strives To Do Right, Carlos & Leona Wind Up With A Fate Far Worse Than Dëâth.
The episode begins with Abe coming upon the scene in the tower and putting a stop to Carlos’ rampage. He holds him at güñpoint and challenges him to a duel, just the two of them. Both men discard their gúñs and duel it out for a brief moment until Abe gets a hold of his.
Carlos grabs a broken bottle and holds Alexa hostage, compelling Abe to surrender his weapon. Alexa bites Carlos and wiggles out of his hold, only for him to pull his gúñ and shoot. Abe shields her with his body and fatally gets shot in the back.
Alexa is left devastated and Aidan shows up as Carlos gloats. He stops his father from doing further damage and tries to reason with him. In the meantime, Max and Nico rescue Chiara from the goons who had äbduçted her.
A moment later, Nico and the rest of the group are devastated to see what’s befallen Abe. Aidan goes after his father and tries to stop him from escaping after what he just did. An altercation ensues.
Carlos heads inside and when he catches Leona trying to escape by herself, he roughs her up. Aidan intervenes. Alexa shows up with a vengeance to confront the Fiero couple. She lashes out at Leona, blaming her for being the root cause of all the trouble.
Aidan is appalled to learn of how his mother had k!lled Olivia. In order to get away, Carlos taunts Alexa with a detonator, having planted a bømb in the tower. Alexa hurries to the tower to warn her companions and Aidan goes after her.
Carlos takes Leona to the underground secret room filled with valuables. With sick pleasure, he presses the detonator and blows the tower to bits. Fortunately, Max and the others had gotten out in the nick of time but Alexa is nowhere to be found.
Feliz is arrested by the police. Precious confesses how Dona Cielo had made her and the other maids to give false testimony of what happened years ago. Lemuel receives recognition for his invaluable contribution to peace in El Hambra.
In prison, Feliz receives a visit from Aidan and her children. Max and the others receive help from Lemuel and Aidan to get out of El Hambra. They say their goodbyes and set off. On their way, they encounter Alexa.
A flashback shows how she had been rescued out of the rubble. Reunited, they’re taken by surprise to find bags of money and a well wishing note from Aidan in the car. They decide to use the money to help the numerous victims of the Fieros.
The next morning, Aidan drives by the mansion with Chiara. Carlos is trapped underground with Leona and they don’t hear his cries for help. Leona is exasperated by her husband’s ranting as the situation seems to be driving them both crazy.
Carlos continues blabbering about the fortune he’s collected and how the Fieros will always remain the most powerful. Leona can’t take it but Carlos won’t be reasoned with and won’t stop his ridiculous ranting.
