Tragedy Strikes The Estrella Family As Freddie Passes On. Cherry Strives To Keep The Family Together Amidst The Bad Blood Between The Brothers.
Becca continues to nag Dave to tell her more about himself and Cherry. A vendor from the livelihood center he and Cherry had set up comes over to sell a product to them. Dave is compelled to take Becca to the souvenir shop where they have an encounter with Cherry.
When Paco arrives to find them gathered around the table to eat, he makes a joke that doesn’t amuse Dave. Dave finds out that his father has been keeping something from him regarding the business.He tries in vain to get him to open up. Paco shows up and an argument ensues between the brothers.
Freddie passes out outside and he’s admitted at the hospital where the doctor explains his condition. Paco goes to see the mayor and he’s taken by surprise to learn that his father had invested in a transportation business that had turned out to be a scam.
At the hospital, Dave and Paco argue over whether or not to end Freddie’s suffering by pulling the plug.Dave announces that he and Becca won’t be leaving anytime soon. When Drew declares that they should turn off the life support and end his misery, Seb lashes out at him.
In no time, Freddie becomes braindead and Dave gives the doctor the go-ahead to pull the plug. The Estrellas proceed to mourn their loss and lay him to rest. Later at home, Cherry reflects on an instance where Freddie had urged her to take care of his sons in his absence.
Dave gets himself drunk, lamenting over how his father had made him make so much sacrifices for the family. The next morning during breakfast, he exposes the terrible crime Drew had committed which Freddie had covered up.
Paco lashes out at him amidst Cherry’s disbelief. An altercation follows as the brothers argue it out. Eventually, Cherry grabs a kñife and stabs Drew in the chest. Turns out to be a nightmare Dave is having. As he tosses in bed, calling Cherry’s name, Becca literally slaps him awake.
