Paco Finally Wins Cherry’s Heart. Lots Of Drama & Tension Develops As Dave Returns Home With Drew & His New Girlfriend.
The episode begins with Dave going through the wedding photos of Seb and Colleen. In the meantime, Cherry borrows Seb’s phone and puts in a video call to Dave. She questions his absence at his brother’s wedding and when she asks why he seems to be avoiding her, he becomes indifferent.
Later, Paco finds her crying and tries in vain to get her to open up. The next day, Paco decides to take Cherry to a vacation spa. They have a good time at the seaside. Cherry thanks him for always being there for her and taking her out.
In the states, Dave works on his project with Becca. Becca invites him out for breakfast and offers for them to be friends. After Paco makes it back home safely following a storm and a landslide, Cherry admits having feelings for him, much to his delight.
During a stroll, the new couple come across two drunkards who pass off nasty comments about Cherry and Paco. Paco gets upset and beats them up. Freddie is at a loss for words when he learns of the incident, even more so about their relationship.
At Cherry’s birthday party, Paco dances with her and takes everyone by surprise by proposing to her. Cherry gladly accepts. Dave isn’t the least bit happy to learn of the turn of events and Freddie urges him not to interfere for the good of everyone.
He soon receives a wedding invitation and resolves to return home with Drew and Becca. The brothers reunite and Becca introduces herself to Cherry as Dave’s girlfriend. Drew hugs Cherry with a hint of malice in his facial expression.
The entire family dines together with a bit of tension in the air. Later, Dave tells his father that he had brought Becca along because she wanted to see his hometown. Freddie is pleased and hopes that he doesn’t cause any trouble with the wedding.
Dave claims he didn’t come home for that. A moment later in the kitchen, he has an awkward encounter with Cherry. Eventually, Seb hangs out with Drew and talks to him about his drug addiction. Drew tells him not to bring up the past anymore.
