Nico Tells Chiara The Bitter Truth. Ador Remains Silent About His Discovery. Alexa & Her Allies’ Mission Come Into Great Danger.
The episode begins with Alexa reeling from the shocking discovery and it’s implications. She laments over what she thinks went down – Carlos had definitely forced himself on her mother. Abe consoles her as she breaks down some more.
Meanwhile, Nico meets up with Chiara and when she asks for his help to find her real mother, he declines. He states that they can no longer be together because her family k!lled his mother. Chiara is devastated.
Upon getting home, she questions her father about the 3 corpses and Carlos feeds her a pathetic story to paint their family the victims, his own version of the truth. Alexa is caught off guard when she learns that Aidan had ordered Precious to move their things back to the mansion.
In the meantime, Abe talks to Max and Lala about Alexa’s discovery. Ador continues to keep Feliz in the dark about the secret he uncovered. Feliz strives to get him to open up to her all to no avail. Alexa reluctantly moves back to the mansion with her husband.
When Precious brings Chiara her dinner in her room, she lashes out at her and kicks her out. The next morning, she apologizes to her and asks her about the workers who had died and Precious plays dumb.
Alexa reveals the truth about Chiara to Nico and wonders if she would ever accept her. Nico assures her that she’s a good person. He soon receives a text message from Chiara asking to meet up again, which Alexa approves.
The Fieros have a business meeting with Sophie. Leona tries to run off Carlos when he interferes. Outside school, Nico meets up with Chiara again and she tells him the lies her father had fed her. Alexa spies from nearby. Nico tries in vain to open her eyes to the truth.
Chiara receives a phone call from Carlos who tells her that Abe is coming to pick her up so they can go out together. After getting off the phone, Chiara tells Nico that she hopes they can at least remain friends.
