Lemuel Joins Forces With Alexa To Get To The Bottom of The Truth. Carlos Finally Wakes Up & Learns of The Situation At Home.
A flashback is revealed about how Carlos had planned to fake his dëâth in the fire at Blazing Fieros. Presently, he regains consciousness and chief Isidro calls a doctor on the phone. Sophie finds Aidan drinking at a bar and she joins him.
Having taken Alexa into his custody, Lemuel interrogates her and she hands him the folder she had found on his late brother, Aries, who had been mûrdëred while investigating the Fiero case. Apparently, there was incriminating evidence against the Fieros which had suddenly disappeared.
Alexa convinces Lemuel to work together with her since they both want the same thing – to uncover the truth. Lemuel resolves to uncuff her and let her go. The doctor examines Carlos and he charges Isidro to keep his survival a secret.
Isidro calls Aidan on the guise of updating him. He puts the phone on loudspeaker and Carlos finds out about his mother’s condition. Alexa tells Max and Abe about her encounter with Lemuel, as well as his brother’s connection to the Fiero case.
As Cielo receives treatment at the hospital, Mila gives her husband moral support. Lemuel tells Lala about her alliance with Alexa and his willingness to help them get to the bottom of the truth. Lala scoffs and taunts him with her silly sarcasm in spite of it all.
Chiara calls Denise on the phone to ask him about Nico but he feigns not knowing his whereabouts. Leona asks how Dona Cielo is doing and Aidan calls her out on the stunt she had pulled with Olga. Cielo finally wakes up and Aidan notifies the doctor.
Meanwhile, Lemuel searches the evidence room with Maneses but they come up short. He can’t seem to understand the disappearance of the evidence and the fact that his brother’s name had been excluded from the list of investigators. Aidan isn’t the least bit happy to see Sophie at the hospital.
She throws herself at him and begins blabbering about the supposed moment they had had when he had been drunk. Meanwhile, Alexa examines Aries’ notes regarding the bloody incident at the Fieros years ago. Lemuel calls her on the phone and asks to meet up.
