Lala & Max Walk Into Carlos & Ador’s Trap; Lala Falls Into The Clutches Of The Enemies.
Aidan Takes Mila To Face His Family.
Max tends to get suspicious when Ms. Pule calls them on the phone all of a sudden. Lala trivializes it and begins blabbering about how the old woman has been there for them since their childhood.
When she picks up, Ms. Pule urges her to come over to her house and pick up some old photos and jewelry which had been left by her mother before. Apparently, she’s moving elsewhere tomorrow.
During dinner, Aidan talks to Alexa about his plans and encourages her to call her sister up so he can talk to her and get to know her a little. In the meantime, Lala arrives outside the old woman’s house with Max.
She heads inside and when she finds her gagged on the floor, she hurries to her aid. Ador sneaks up on her and Lala strives to fight him off. The commotion brings Max running in, only to be shot in the shoulder.
Ador then overpowers Lala and holds her at güñpoint. Max escapes and contacts Alexa and Abe to inform them of the incident. Ador has Lala tied up somewhere and Carlos eggs him on as he tørtürês her in an attempt to compel her to give up her accomplices.
Following a phone call from his mother, Aidan decides to take Mila home to face his family and prove to them that they’re wrong about her. Olga has a talk with Leona about the messes the Fieros keep creating. She urges that she should let them solve their own problems.
She then tries to convince her to elope abroad with her under new identities in order to have a fresh start together. While the Fieros dine together, Aidan soils the mood when he shows up with Mila. His family strongly expresses their disapproval of their relationship.
Aidan defends Mila and has her join his family at the table. Chiara lashes out at her and after some of the others belittle her, Mila takes off her jewelry, stating that she’s not a golddigger. Cielo then demands for her to leave. Aidan asks Mila to excuse them.
He then warns his family that if they ever lay a hand on her again, he would cut all ties with them because she’s the one he wants. Later, Carlos confronts his son and rants nonstop. He actually demands for him to marry Sophie since she’s the answer to their financial problems.
After that, he’s free to make Mila his mistress if he wants. Aidan is appalled at such ridiculous advice. No wonder his mother is so miserable. Carlos grumbles. Mila who’s been eavesdropping is somewhat amused.
