Purvi tells Virender that he is blaming Gajraj falsely. Virender is shocked and asks if she really thinks he is blaming him. He questions if she trusts this cheapster more than him. He tells her that he is with her in whatever she wants to do and asks her to stop this drama. Purvi insists that this isn’t a drama. She says she is tired of living like a poor person and can not live like that anymore.
She adds that thankfully, Gajraj ji was there when she had a heart attack, and if it had been Virender, they wouldn’t even have had money for treatment. She questions what he would have lost, saying she would have died in the process. Virender tells her to stop talking nonsense, but she shouts that it is true. She says it might hurt to hear and understand, but it is the truth.
She declares that she doesn’t want to live with him anymore and demands that he sign the papers and give her a divorce, saying she doesn’t want to live like this anymore. Satyam goes to bring the papers. Virender asks Purvi if she has lost her mind. She reminds him how he had paid 20 lakhs to her Baba for Molkki, saying he would need that money today. She tells him he doesn’t want to lose that money, not her. She then asks Satyam to pay 20 lakhs to Virender, saying their relationship will be over now. Satyam readily agrees.
Virender tells Purvi that she has insulted their love by talking about money. He says she has tried to put a price on his love and declares that she deserves to live not with him but with this cheap man. He tells her she should stay with him. Gajraj gives Virender the pen and divorce papers, and he signs them. Purvi looks on sadly. Virender throws the papers and tells her she is free now and can do whatever she wants. He then leaves.
Purvi is crying to herself as she heads back to the room while Virender walks in a daze on the streets. Purvi begs for Virender’s forgiveness, saying she knows her behavior must have hurt him a lot but that it is hurting her even more. Virender thinks that he knows her more than anyone else. He believes that although she might have been mean to him, she must be more hurt than him right now and must be doing this to punish Gajraj. He tells himself that a paper cannot end their love and that she can never accept a man like Gajraj.
Purvi says she can try to go away from Virender, but she gets pulled to him even more every time. She says no one can replace him in her life. Virender believes that no matter what she says or does, he has full faith that Bawri can never be someone else’s. Purvi says she will come running to him the moment Satyam gets punished. Virender mentally encourages Purvi to do whatever she wants, assuring her that he is with her under any circumstance.
The next morning, Purvi apologizes to Virender once again. She says she knows she is hurting him a lot, but she will come to him once she exposes this cheap man and will never part ways with him again. Satyam walks in, and Purvi wipes her tears, not wanting him to see that she is sad because of Virender. Satyam sits next to her and offers her his kerchief, telling her not to cry her heart out because Mukhi does not care about her.
He tells her that he cares about her and reminds her that she has just recovered from a heart attack, so she must look after herself. Purvi says she has nothing to eat and nowhere to stay. He tells her to stay with him in the haveli. She thanks him and says she doesn’t know how she will repay this favor. He tells her not to say that again, saying she has done a favor for him by coming into his life. She moves her hand away as she thanks him again. Purvi vows to expose him while staying under the same roof as him.
A servant walks in, and Satyam reprimands him for entering the room while he is with Purvi. The servant informs him that the police are outside. They go outside to check, and Purvi thanks God and smiles. The inspector tells Satyam that they have received information that he isn’t who he is pretending to be. Purvi asks the inspector who is accusing him. Satyam asks if the inspector will believe any random person’s words and insists that he is Gajraj. A nurse calls him a liar and reveals that he is Satyam, who was arrested for killing Renu.
She says his face was distorted in the blast, and everyone thought he was dead, but he is lying to everyone. Satyam laughs at the accusation, calling it a great story. He asks Purvi if she knows anyone by that name. She nods and says he was her SIL’s husband but had died. She adds that Mukhi ji has his death certificate. She asks Satyam to provide proof of his identity. He questions if she will prove her identity tomorrow if someone questions her. He tells the inspector that the nurse is lying. She stays firm and shows her wounds.
Gajraj dismisses her claims as stories and challenges them to take him to court if they want proof. The nurse looks at Purvi, who thinks to herself that her work has become easier since Satyam will now have to show proof of being Gajraj or go to court. The inspector tells Gajraj that he is helpless in front of the law. He states that a report has been registered, so he must take action. He tells him to either bring proof or come to the police station.
Satyam gives a file to the inspector, showing Gajraj’s certificates and narrating the incident of when his face was burnt. He starts breathing heavily. Purvi asks the servant to bring water. The inspector asks Satyam if he is fine. Purvi reprimands the inspector for causing trouble and assures Satyam that he will be fine. The nurse warns Satyam to keep up with his façade, vowing to expose him at any cost. She warns Purvi not to fall for Satyam’s drama, calling him a wolf who pretends to be unwell whenever he is about to be trapped.
She urges Purvi not to trust him. The police take her away. Purvi takes Satyam to his room as he continues pretending to be unwell. Anjali asks about Purvi, and Virender replies that she won’t come. Yogi asks him if she is fine. Anjali is equally confused and asks why he is saying that. She questions why Purvi won’t come. Virender tells them that he has signed the divorce papers and that she has chosen to live with Satyam in that haveli. Anjali is in disbelief, but Virender assures her that it is true.
