Lemuel Steps Up His Investigation. Lala & Max Frustrate His Efforts. Chiara’s Party Is Ruined. Nico Takes Initiative.
Mila cautions Aidan of the trouble that could arise when gossip begins to spread about their meeting. Aidan isn’t concerned and makes it clear that it’s really over between him and Sophie. Mila then asks him to go and think things over and be sure whether he really wants to be with her.
Tonet and Clint have an argument on Nico and Chiara’s account. Marites returns to the room after Aidan has left and when she asks Mila for an update, she reveals that she and Aidan are in a relationship.
She urges her to keep the matter a secret. Lala and Max go to the bar in order to figure out what Lemuel had been able to dig up about the former. Lemuel goes to a welfare center to ask about Lala but he’s not able to get concrete information.
Ironically, Lala had sneaked into the place beforehand and gotten rid of any documents that could expose her. Nevertheless, Lemuel learns about Mrs. Pule, the temporary guardian who could help him with his investigation.
After dropping off Chiara at school, Mila is startled to encounter Nico outside. She manages to cover up her surprise and presence there. In the meantime, Chiara gives Clint and co an earful for the pranks they’ve been pulling.
Nico and Tonet come upon the scene as Chiara thrëâtens to report them if they keep up with their antics. Lemuel contacts Carlos on the phone, asking him to check his employee records for Lala, suspecting that she’s somehow involved in Stella’s dëâth.
Aidan pitches the concept for the City of Blazing Dreams to Mr. Madrigates who presumed that he and Sophie are still together, and yet to tie the knot. Lemuel goes to see Mrs. Pule to ask her about Lala.
Ironically, the old woman plays him for a fool as Lala and Max have outsmarted him yet again. Nico arrives at the mansion for Chiara’s pool party, prompting Mila and Abe to go into hiding. Anyway, Chiara appreciates the flowers he gives her and welcomes him.
No one else shows up for her pool party, courtesy of a terrible stunt Tonet had pulled against her. Chiara is downcast and embarrassed and Nico takes it upon himself to cheer her up.Read Next Episode on Dirty Linen Episode 25
