Satyam receives a message that the mass intake for Canada has been postponed for a year. This means he will have to bear these people for the entire time, and Prakashi Devi will be a headache. Virender arrives in the disguise of a Fakir. Satyam asks him to move aside, but Virender cryptically says, “You are the one she is looking for. She has her eyes on everyone. She will surely come back!” Satyam, growing uneasy, orders the guard to take him away.
However, Virender continues, “Will you get me out of your way just like you did to her?” Dismissing the guard, he adds, “I saw it with my own eyes. A death and a red lemon!” Satyam, now visibly shaken, demands to know how Virender is aware of this. Virender replies, “I know everything except her name. Spirits don’t have names. She will take revenge for what you have done! She will come on the full moon night, and that will be your last night. I can see a horrible death.” Satyam fumbles in fear. “It is just two days away. I will do as I saw. Stop her, please!” Virender instructs him to swear in her name. Looking around with folded hands, Satyam swears, “I will do as you say.”
Virender tells him, “She has replied. Eat 21 green chillies and drink 21 glasses of water. Descend the stairs 21 times. This will be enough for today. Tomorrow, I will tell you what you should do.” Desperate, Satyam agrees. “She will leave me alone, right?” Virender responds, “You need to go to her to find that out. Your work is to do penitence. The spirit will do the rest.” With that, Virender leaves. Satyam obediently eats the green chillies while Yogi eats his food. Soon, Satyam starts coughing. Yogi, surprised, asks, “Why are you eating chillies?” Anjali smirks and piles more chillies onto Satyam’s plate. “Eat them all. Hopefully, your illness will be cured, and you won’t have to go to Canada either.”
After drinking the instructed amount of water, Satyam begins to beg Renu for forgiveness. He feels nauseous but controls himself and continues with the punishment. Anjali and Yogi watch in concern. Anjali murmurs, “He is in a state of shock after Renu Didi’s death. We must do something.”
Later, Satyam enters his room and finds a note written on the mirror – Why did you do this to me? Suddenly, the doors open on their own, and another note appears – I trusted you more than myself. Panic grips him as he hears the eerie sound of ghungroos echoing. Under Renu’s photo, another message reads – I only loved you.
The haunting words play over and over in his mind. Then, another note appears on the floor – You must come with me! Terrified and guilt-ridden, Satyam grabs Renu’s dupatta and rushes upstairs, muttering to himself, “It is better to die in one go than suffer a slow, painful death every day. This is what you want, right? You can take your revenge.”
He makes a noose from the dupatta and hangs it on the shade. “You have won, Renu! You wanted revenge. Now both of our souls will be at peace.” As he puts the noose around his neck, Yogi and Anjali rush to the terrace. Finding the door locked, they force it open just in time and save Satyam.
Satyam, sobbing, asks them why they saved him. “You should have let me die!” Yogi tells him, “It is senseless to commit suicide. I was going to do the same thing a few days ago, but I realized it was pointless. Think about your parents!” Satyam shakes his head. “I am tired. She cannot bear to see me happy!” Yogi asks who he is talking about, but Satyam remains silent. How can I tell them that I don’t want to live with them anymore? I wish I get clearance in March because I cannot keep lying anymore. I am exhausted. If this continues, I will go crazy. He leaves for his room, and Yogi tells Anjali, “We must look after Satyam.” She nods in agreement.
Meanwhile, Virender anxiously waits for Purvi. She had told him she would be home in 30 minutes, but it has already been three hours. His worry increases as he hears an announcement from the police, demanding that he come out. “We know you are inside!” But when Virender opens the door, he is surprised to see Juhi and Purvi instead. Juhi runs into his arms, hugging him tightly. “Baba, it wasn’t the police,” Purvi explains, showing him an app she used to change her voice. He sighs in relief and ushers them inside. “Why did you bring her here? It’s dangerous!”
Purvi defends her decision. “Juhi was being stubborn. She insisted on seeing you, so I brought her here.” Virender then asks about Manas. Juhi sighs, “He has completely lost it. He keeps saying he saw you pushing Renu Bua. He is lying for no reason. But I know my Baba can never hurt anyone, so I told him that.” Just then, they hear the sound of a bell. Purvi quickly sends Juhi outside to eat ice cream and then turns to Virender. “Don’t worry. Manas is just a child. If we explain, he will understand.” However, Virender shakes his head. “We all saw the recording. He isn’t wrong. He’s just saying what he saw.”
Purvi suddenly realizes that Satyam might have used his mask that night as well. Virender frowns. “What do you mean?” Purvi recalls, “Satyam once came into my room wearing his mask. But I know him well, so I didn’t fall for it. Maybe he did the same thing that night.” Virender thinks for a moment before a realization strikes him. “Prakashi is involved in this too.” Purvi asks how he is so sure. A flashback shows Prakashi and Virender meeting a surgeon who explains how masks can be used to alter someone’s appearance. “With this, you can even look like a hero or heroine,” the surgeon says. Thrilled, Prakashi jokes, “I could rob a bank while looking like someone I despise!” She and the others laugh at the thought. The flashback ends.
Virender is still skeptical. “But what would Ma gain from this?” Purvi reminds him, “You threw Prakashi out of the haveli. She might want revenge.” Virender, still unwilling to believe his mother is involved, insists, “No, it must be Satyam. But why would he do this?” Purvi suddenly remembers Hirabai’s visit to the haveli the night Renu died. “Satyam was terrified when he saw her there. That means he must have made a deal with Hirabai.”
Virender clenches his fists in fury. “I won’t spare him! I’ll kill him!” But Purvi holds him back. “Control yourself. He will be punished by the law and by God. Right now, we need to scare him enough that he confesses on his own. We must ensure he is left completely alone.” Virender nods in agreement.
