The Fieros Encounter A Major Setback In Their Business. Aidan Takes Matters Into His Own Hands. Carlos Becomes Obsessed To Get To The Truth.
Leona gloats over what Carlos thinks she’s been doing with her free time. She tells Olga that she’s considering leading him on. They take a trip down memory lane before Leona begins to lament over how the Fiero family have been treating her with disdain in spite of all the times she’s bailed them out of trouble.
She then reveals how Aidan had found out about her business. Speaking of, Aidan is sparring with a punching bag. Alexa talks to Nico on the phone, telling him about some money she’s sent him to get by.
Nico makes note of the scholarship program. The Fieros have a meeting to discuss how to boost the income from their gambling business. Precious has nothing better to do than gossip to her subordinates about Mila and her closeness with Aidan.
Leona interrupts the meeting to alert the family of a breaking news – the authorities have banned online gambling which puts their cockfighting business at risk. An argument ensues between the Fieros as they apportion blame to one another.
Leona gladly waits for the first fight to begin at the Lion’s Den while Alexa and her team also watch on their phones. She receives a nasty surprise when Aidan enters the cage. He doesn’t bother defending himself and allows his opponent, Miguel, to pummel him.
Leona desperately goes to stop the fight. Miguel breaks free of the referee’s restraint and charges at Aidan. Aidan steps out of harm’s way with his mother and Miguel hits his head against the cage and slumps to the floor, convulsing.
Aidan goes into a state of shock at the sight of the bloody scene. Leona gives Aidan an earful for putting his life in danger to prove a point. Aidan is appalled that his mother refuses to stop what she’s been doing. When Miguel fails to wake up, Leona has some of her guys dump his body somewhere.
Aidan tails them, drags the body into his car and leaves it outside a hospital. Some nurses find him and wheel him into the hospital. In the meantime, Carlos tørtüres his private investigator for letting Leona get to him. And some more to compel him to spill his wife’s secret.
Alexa catches Aidan in the act of setting fire to his bloody clothes. Aidan swears her to secrecy before walking away. Alexa contacts the rest of the team, ready to take whatever action necessary to ensure the Fieros pay for their crimes.
