Alexa gloats as she spies Carlos storming off. Aidan finds her in the hallway and creeps up on her. When he asks why she’s still up, she claims that she couldn’t sleep because she was worried about her “sister”.
She then admits to having overheard the argument between his parents earlier. When Lala returns to the hideout, Max teases her over her ordeal before. Abe states that they would cause more tension within the Fiero family.
During breakfast the next morning, Aidan suggests that they give his aunt Feliz a job in PR to get her mind off the recent happenings. Dona Cielo is appalled with the idea on account of the already bad publicity but Leona believes they can turn the situation around to their advantage.
Alexa and Abe secretly exchange information they’ve gathered so far. Nico is delighted to finally get a chance to attend his dream school, courtesy of a scholarship program and his performance. The principal asks Chiara to escort him to the examination room.
On the way, Nico tries to make conversation with Chiara but she treats him with disregard. Tonet shows up and begins to throw herself at him. Chiara leaves after throwing Nico shade. Tonet doesn’t pass up the chance to talk down at her cousin.
In no time, Nico has an unfriendly encounter with Clint and his friends. Leona slips out of the mansion under the guise of going to the spa with Olga. She heads over to the Lion’s Den, oblivious of the fact that Aidan has been tailing her all along right to her fight club.
The fighters are assembled in the underground ring, with Lala by Hector’s side and Max a part of the guys. A flashback reveals how the group had infiltrated the place. Max is matched up with another fighter but then his strategy to avoid getting beaten to a pulp doesn’t exactly pan out.
Abe and Alexa watch the live broadcast. Aidan is appalled with the brutality of the fights. Eventually, he confronts his mother outside and she strives to make him see her reason for what she’s been doing.
Chiara goes through Nico’s social media profile and decides to unblock him. When Nico receives the notification, he stops himself from texting her right away because of the things Tonet had told him.
Carlos questions attorney Olga about what his wife has been up to and she covers up for Leona as usual. Olga notes that he needs to focus more on closing an important deal for the company, adding that he should only call her if he has any legal matters.
