The promotion is in full swing for both candidates. Sakshi asks Juhi and Manas if they won’t meet their mother. Manas shouts, “No!” Juhi adds, “We do not like her. We support Haathi.” Manas says, “You should wait and watch. Our Haathi will win.” Virender asks Bawri to come, saying, “We have a lot to do.” The kids cheer for Haathi, and more people follow. Sakshi watches them leave, thinking, This is politics. I will go to any extent to defeat you this time. Purvi and Sakshi visit the villagers. Both are warmly welcomed at every house.
Purvi takes a pot of water from a pregnant woman, saying, “It isn’t good for the baby to carry such a heavy pot.” Virender adds, “This is what your Sarpanch should be capable of—supporting you and shouldering your responsibilities. A Sarpanch shouldn’t just show fake love and click photos” (hinting at Sakshi). “How will someone help the people of Rewari if they don’t realize it?” Another lady takes the water pot and seconds Virender, saying, “Choti Mukhiyayin will become our Sarpanch now.”
Sakshi gives a speech on stage. She calls Purvi a Molkki, saying, “She won’t be able to do what I can do for you. Many such Molkkis have come and gone, but a DIL leaves only when she dies. I came here as a DIL, as Mukhi Ji’s wife. I will leave only after serving all of you for my entire life. You should choose your DIL.” A man seconds her, saying, “Not Molkki, but Mukhiyayin should be the Sarpanch.” Her supporters cheer for Sakshi. Purvi’s supporters cheer for Purvi as she comes on stage. Purvi says, “Sakshi Ji was right. She came here as a DIL, and I came as a Molkki. She might have missed telling you that the same family and the same Mukhi Ji ousted her from the family. It was because she cheated and ruined her own family. She risked her kids’ lives and even sent her husband to jail. She has done her duties beautifully! She has forgotten that she made me Choti Mukhiyayin and gave me the right of a DIL herself.
I have never cheated anyone since I came here. I have fought for justice for the women of Rewari and others as well. I have stood by Mukhi Ji’s side in Panchayat too. The decision is yours now. You have to decide who the real DIL is and who deserves to be the Mukhiyayin.” Sakshi retorts, “I am the deserving candidate. Molkki is talking about honesty and duties. Ask her what the biggest duty of a wife is. Is it to accept her husband as everything or to flirt with every other guy? Ask her what her relationship with Vipul, Daksh, and Arjun is! Why did she marry Arjun when Mukhi Ji was there? What will people think of the women of Rewari if such women are made Sarpanch? Think through before coming to a decision.”
Purvi stands up, saying, “It was Sakshi Ji who brought Arjun here. She laid a trap for me and got me married to Arjun forcibly. She is the one who shot Daksh and framed Mukhi Ji for it. She has done so much to take revenge on me. She didn’t even spare her own kids. She got them kidnapped and put their lives at risk. She didn’t even let her own baby survive. The DIL who couldn’t be her family’s and the mother who couldn’t look after her own kids cannot take care of you. How can you trust her then? The mother who can kill her own baby and is a murderer, who cannot see beyond her selfishness and revenge, and who isn’t afraid of God and laws, cannot take care of anyone else.” Everyone stands in support of Purvi and cheers for her.
Virender does aarti of Purvi, saying, “You do my aarti and pray for my success every time. I have done it this time. I am sure you will become the Sarpanch this time. Come and check for yourself if you don’t trust me.” Voting begins, and people come to cast their votes. Sakshi, Purvi, and Virender stand outside the voting center. The officer tells the guard to close the door as they start counting. Purvi tells Virender she is anxious. He reassures her, “You are going to win. Sakshi must be worried.”
The officer comes outside. Virender asks him if Purvi has been made the new Sarpanch. Purvi’s supporters start playing dhol. The officer stops them, saying, “Celebrate later. We haven’t announced the decision yet.” Sakshi is declared the winner. Virender and Purvi are stunned, while Sakshi smirks. The officer announces Sakshi as the new Sarpanch of Rewari. The Panch are equally disappointed. Virender asks the officer how this can be, saying, “The entire village supports Purvi. How can Sakshi win?” The officer reasons, “We have counted the votes thoroughly.” Sakshi says, “This is an insult to me. Do you think I cannot win?” Virender nods. Sakshi agrees to a recount. The officer begins to go inside when Virender stops him, saying, “It will be counted in front of us this time.” The officer allows them to come inside.
Votes are counted in front of Virender, Purvi, and Sakshi. There is a significant gap between the votes for each candidate. The officer tells Virender that Sakshi has won. Sakshi asks Virender if he is satisfied now. Sakshi smiles and says, “Did you really think I would come back unprepared this time? I have come with full preparation this time.” A flashback shows Sakshi bribing the peon. She tells him to open the window of the room where ballots are kept, saying, “My men will replace the ballots.” He is hesitant, but she assures him it will be done smoothly. She pays him. The peon sends the guy sitting in the ballot room inside. Sakshi’s men replace the ballots and set fire to the votes that Sakshi actually received. They send the video to Sakshi and inform her over the call. The flashback ends.
Sakshi asks Virender if he wants to investigate more. Virender and Purvi walk out of the office in shock. Anjali and Prakashi come there with dhol and garlands. Purvi and Virender are puzzled to see them. Prakashi congratulates Sakshi, saying, “You have shown the entire Rewari how much they love you. You ended up becoming the Mukhiyayin.” She puts the garland around Sakshi’s neck. Anjali follows suit, saying, “I am so happy. You have defeated Molkki badly.” Purvi asks them, “Aren’t you ashamed? Don’t you remember how she insulted you before throwing you out of the house?” Anjali says, “It doesn’t matter. Everyone salutes the rising sun. Why should we think of it when Bhabhi has forgotten everything?” Prakashi adds that they cannot mess with the winner.
Virender is convinced that Sakshi has cheated. Something seems off; she cannot win like this. The villagers love us so much—how could she possibly not win? Suddenly, they hear the sound of dhol playing, and Sakshi walks in with Anjali, Prakashi, and her followers.Virender confronts her, asking how she dares to enter. Sakshi responds that they are celebrating her victory. She reminds him that she legally owns the haveli, as she got the property in her name while he was in jail. “My word will rule now,” she declares, asserting that no one can stop her from staying there. As Virender prepares to charge at her, Purvi intervenes, telling him there’s no point in fighting now. They leave for their room, while Prakashi instructs someone to bring the puja thaal.
The next morning, Virender asks Purvi what she has made for breakfast, only to find Sakshi sitting in his chair. Purvi urges him to remain calm as they try to walk away. However, Sakshi insists, “This is your place. You will sit here.” She moves aside, and Virender takes his seat. Anjali tries to serve breakfast, but Purvi takes it from her, saying, “I will look after Mukhi ji until I am here.” Just then, two ladies approach Sakshi, seeking her help. They share that there is a prostitute outside Rewari and that their husbands are wasting their hard-earned money there. Sakshi agrees to help, saying, “I will call that dancer here for a performance, and then I will speak to her. Bring your husbands as well. I will try my best to throw the dancer out of Rewari.”
After the ladies leave, Virender questions whether a prostitute will dance in their haveli. “This has never happened here before! I won’t let it!” Sakshi reminds him that she is the Mukhiyayin now, and things will happen as per her wish. “I will see who will stop me!” she declares. Virender accepts the challenge and walks away, followed by Purvi. As Virender paces in his room, he reflects on his mistake in listening to Sakshi. “I should have killed her that day! She will let a prostitute dance in the haveli while I am alive? I will show her her place!” Purvi stops him again, explaining that Sakshi is doing this intentionally because she knows his weakness. “She knows you can do wrong when you’re angry. We can only throw her out of the house when she loses her calm. We must remain calm. Please, calm down.” Virender nods in agreement.
Preparations for the dance are underway. Sakshi notices Virender and Purvi standing in the corridor. Virender realizes that Purvi is right; anger causes one to lose everything. Anjali praises the preparations. As a few villagers enter, the prostitute walks in. Sakshi glances at Virender, who is staring at her pointedly. Just as he turns to leave, Sakshi invites him to see the Mujra, saying it is happening for the first time in the haveli.
In their room, Virender is irked by the noise. “My head is about to burst because of this racket!” A few men fall to the floor, throwing money, while their wives pull them away. Virender takes the cotton balls from his ears and hands them to Purvi, exclaiming that this is useless. “I will fix this!” He heads outside, screaming at everyone to stop the dance and music.
He orders the prostitute and musicians to leave, insisting that this haveli isn’t meant for them. The prostitute refuses to leave. In frustration, Virender pushes her. When she looks up, both he and Prakashi are shocked to recognize her. “Renu!” Virender exclaims. Purvi, curious, asks who she is, while the other ladies point out that she is Mukhi ji’s sister. Virender confronts Renu, asking if she has become a prostitute. Prakashi is equally incredulous, asking how she could stoop so low. “Didn’t you think about us even once?” she demands. Renu admits she was wrong. “I thought Harish loved me, but I was mistaken. He ran away with my money and jewelry. What else could I do? I was dead to you the day I eloped from the haveli, so I couldn’t come back.
I met an old man who took me to a brothel instead. All my hopes died that day. I thought this was my destiny, and I accepted it.” Prakashi asks her if she couldn’t accept her death as her destiny. Renu replies that she tried to kill herself many times but was always taken back. “I felt punished. I spent days without food and water. I broke down eventually because I didn’t know what to do. I didn’t want this, but I was forced into it.” She breaks down, explaining how she survived in that life. A lady points out that her story doesn’t change her character, while another states that she will always be labeled a prostitute. Sakshi decides to take the lead, but Purvi steps forward and declares, “Enough!”
