Lily’s Plans For Damage Control Goes Horribly Wrong. Diana & Delfin Strengthen The Eagles; Task Force Agila Receives Good News About Cardo.
Lily returns to the Palace delighted over her successful plans. Camillo is somewhat unnerved to hear the report of what had happened. Lito comes to notify her of the arrival of the media. A moment later, Lily faces the press and puts on quite a pathetic show of being in mourning.
Of course she and Lito blame Cardo and his group for the dëâth of the supposed president. Ironically, the press begin bombarding Lily with questions about why they had been banned from the airfield.
They then question her regarding the accusations Cardo had levelled against her and Renato as promoters of corruption in the government. Delfin sinks into despair over the loss of his grandson. He can’t help but to feel responsible.
Diana strives to strengthen him, urging that they shouldn’t throw in the towel and let their enemies win. Back at the Palace, Lily whines, upset that the reporters hadn’t been sympathetic to her. Camillo tends to get worried and reminds her what befalls those who betray her.
Oscar, Aurora and co decide to spend the night in the woods so they don’t get caught by Don Ignacio’s men. Aurora has Oscar promise to correct the corrupt system should he reclaim his position. In no time, Camillo is sworn into office as the new president.
The members of Task Force Agila reflect on their time and history with Cardo. Albert decides to cuff Cardo and secure his room so he doesn’t get the chance to escape once he regains consciousness. With the Eagles at their lowest, Samuel pushes for them to strike them down.
However, Armando doesn’t want to rush into things, noting that the Task Force isn’t to be trifled with. Lily tells Camillo of her plans to rig the elections, eliminate Renato and Arturo, as well as Cardo and Task Force Agila eventually.
Meanwhile, Renato and Arturo reach out to Don Ignacio for his help to get back at their common enemies. Delfin and Diana have a talk with the group, charging them to remain united and not give up the noble cause they’ve been fighting for.
Camillo isn’t thrilled to follow Lily’s evil plans so Lito blackmails him with his family whom they have in their custody. Armando deploys his men to go and find Oscar before Task Force Agila does.
Ultimately, the hot-headed Albert faces the press to address the status of Cardo. The members of Task Force Agila watch the news and they’re greatly relieved to learn that their decorated leader is actually still alive and in stable condition.
