Following The Futile Search For Mara, Cardo & His Group Prepare For Their Crucial Mission. Armando Refuses To Help
The episode begins with Delfin confronting the fake president about what he and his partners in crime have done, as well as the part his partners in crime had contributed. Mariano gloats and taunts the group with a couple of choice words.
Delfin gives him a talking-to. Still , Mariano talks trash some more and even thrëâtens to hunt them down once he returns to the Palace. Cardo returns to Lucas with the other members of Task Force Agila.
Since they hadn’t found Mara in the hideout, our favorite hero concludes that Don Ignacio isn’t the one who kidñappéd her. Armando and Lolita decide to track down Oscar and get to him before Cardo and his group.
In an attempt to do damage control over Mariano’s recent scandal, Lily ups her game and tries to gain the people’s affection. Aurora is speechless when she sees the video that had captured the real president in a pathetic disguise.
Renato isn’t pleased to see that Lily’s trending. He refrains from telling Arturo about his wife’s dëâth in order to ensure that he doesn’t get drastic. Upon arriving at the mansion, Cardo tells Armando about his plans for the group’s upcoming mission.
The Eagles are taken by surprise when Armando makes it crystal clear that he and his fold would not join them. After the Eagles leave, Armando serves Lucas a stern warning not to pull the stunt he did concerning Mara. Lily whines over how she’s been forced to deal with Cardo and “his stüpid group”.
In the meantime, Don Ignacio laments over how Lily had made a fool out of him. Samuel goes to see Lucas to lecture him on his actions. Lucas notes that he would never stop searching for Mara.
Aurora has a talk with Lucia about Lily and Oscar. Talking about the latter opens up old wounds and brings back memories. Meanwhile, Cardo broods by himself as he ponders over the upcoming crucial mission of Task Force Agila.
Omar the unsuspecting snake joins him and puts on a friendly show. Cardo actually apologizes to the creep for losing his wife and child. After he leaves, Omar drops his act and begins whining like usual.
