Lily’s Plans Are Thrëâtened By Mariano’s Betrayal. Cardo & Task Force Agila Plot To Get To Their Enemies & Ensure The Safety Of The Real President.
Armando refuses to believe Mariano’s absurd claims. Holding him at güñpoint, he thrëâtens to finish him off right there and then. Diana urges the imposter to prove that he’s telling the truth.
As tension rises, that’s when James has the brains to remember what Elizabeth had told him before – that she had seen two presidents in the Palace. Cardo saunters in, stating that Lily had tricked them all.
He confronts Mariano about the whereabouts of the real president. A moment later, Cardo and the group compel the fake president to go live and assure the country that he’s safe.
As Lily and her rivals are set to have a peace talk at an airstrip, Cardo and Task Force Agila plan to take advantage of the opportunity to get to their enemies.They look forward to getting further assistance from Armando’s group.
However, Armando doesn’t have any plans of helping them out this time. Lily isn’t happy to see the video Mariano had made and she vows to ensure that he doesn’t bring her down. Lucas goes to see Armando and Lolita about Mara’s disappearance.
He’s unnerved to realize that none of them seem that bothered. In no time, Armando acts out when he finds out what the goons had done to Mara. Lolita calls him off as she reminds him that Mara isn’t his daughter.
With Mara still bloody and unconscious, Armando dismisses all the scumbâgs and spends some time mopping around. News of the sighting of the man resembling Oscar catches the attention of Cardo and Task Force Agila.
The group is surprised to see the video evidence. After their mission tomorrow, they would focus on locating the real president before their enemies get to him first and eliminates him.
Armando lashes out at Lolita who later goes to confront the unconscious Mara and lament over the misfortune her family caused her. While Cardo and the Eagles work out a plan to get their enemies, the unsuspecting snake that is Omar plots to ruin it.
It doesn’t take long for Lily to receive a video where Mariano exposes her as the mastermind behind the impersonation of the real president. Once Renato and Arturo also receive a copy of the video, they storm the Palace to confront Lily, only to be taken by surprise at the sight of Lito and Albert.
Lily mockingly introduces the former as their new executive secretary. Lito gets in Renato’s face to gloat. A guard comes running in, saying that Cardo is on the news and has a message for the public.
