Lily Enacts Her Plan To Maintain Control Of The Palace. Mariano Confesses The Truth, Shocking Task Force Agila & Team Armando.
The shocking incident of the assāssiñâtion of the president takes the country by storm, evidently frustrating Renato and Arturo’s evil machinations. It’s reported on TV and even as Senate president Camillo is shocked, Lily gloats and congratulates him as the new president.
First, there are some people he has to meet. As the wounded members of Task Force Agila recuperate, Cardo rallies the group together and urges that it’s high time they make their move since time isn’t on their side. Aurora ponders over Lolita’s anger towards her and their history together with Oscar.
She recalls the shooting incident at the art exhibit and then thinks about her daughter whom she had lost. Samuel whines to Lucas about how Cardo’s group could be their downfall.Having regained consciousness, Armando is met with the good news of the capture of Oscar.
In the meantime, acting president Camillo addresses the press and together with Lily, they answer their questions and try to do damage control in regards to the brutal mûrdër of Cassandra. At the mansion, the members of Task Force Agila discuss their situation as well as the equally brutal mûrdër of Ellen by Lolita.
Diana points out that they need to be careful because they have no idea what Armando and his group is capable of. A photo of a man resembling president Hidalgo begins to go viral, putting Lily and Renato on high alert. It would be a cold day in hell before either of them allow Oscar to ruin their plans.
Armando angrily goes to confront the president and he lashes out at him and roughs him up much to the surprise of the Eagles. Lily summons Albert and Lito to the Palace to discuss an important matter. She orders Albert to locate and bring her the real president.
Back at the mansion, the guys ask Armando what’s up with his behavior and he recounts the bad blood between him and Oscar and how he had supposedly ruined their lives. When Mariano denies everything, he beats him up and pulls a gün on him.
The Eagles strive to keep him from shooting. Eventually, everyone is shocked when Mariano admits that he isn’t Oscar. He reveals his real name and goes on about how Lily and Renato had paid him to impersonate the real president.
