Mara’s Fate Is Revealed. Lito Recuperates. Mariano Makes A Desperate Attempt To Escape The Clutches Of Cardo & Task Force Agila.
Cardo holds the fake president at güñpoint, warning him to make up his mind before he loses his patience and pulls the trigger. Ellen urges Mariano to do whatever is asked of him so they don’t get k!lled. Cardo storms off.
Meanwhile, Lolita stays by Armando’s side, lamenting and blaming Aurora and her father for the dëâth of their baby. She vows to settle the score. Outside, Samuel whines to some of the guys about Armando’s situation, and of course blaming Cardo and his group while he’s at it.
Lucas comes over, worried over Mara’s disappearance. He wants them to go out in search of her but Samuel refuses to budge lest they get caught by the police. Ironically, Lolita aims her gúñ at the bloodied and unconscious Mara, whining some more over her misfortunes and vowing vengeance.
A flashback reveals how she and Armando had conspired together to knock out Mara during the moment Cardo had taken the president captive. With the help of some goons, they had hidden her from the others and transported her to the isolated room in the mansion.
Don Ignacio takes a look at Thalia’s dëâd body. He curses and swears to get his revenge. Cardo, Delfin and Victor discuss their successful mission and their current situation. So naively, Cardo believes that he had finally k!lled Lito with just one blasted büllet.
Cardo wants to deal with the president for the things he’s done and Delfin tries to calm him down. Mariano refuses to talk but plans to escape captivity with Ellen. As expected, Lito is revealed to be still alive and recuperating in his hideout.
Lily comes to see him and he begins blabbering about the group who are in alliance with Cardo and Task Force Agila. Mariano wastes no time to make his escape and Ellen is compelled to tag along. Victor sounds the alarm when he notices that their captives are nowhere to be found. Cardo and the guys go in hot pursuit.
While Oscar catches up with Bastian and the others, Aurora reflects on the daughter she had with Oscar which they named Maria Isabel. Omar the unsuspecting snake pulls a gün on the wounded and unconscious Eagles who are still recovering, whining about how he would have his revenge soon.
During the escape, Ellen gets exhausted at some point and Mariano decides to ditch her because he still wants to leave. He leaves Ellen behind as she begins bleeding. Mariano strives to get away from his pursuers. Cardo stands on the rooftop, searching angrily for signs of the fake president.
