Aurora Recalls Her Escape From Eduardo’s Henchmen. Fate Brings Mara & Aurora Across Oscar’s Path.
The episode begins with Mara pulling over near the waterfall. Aurora expresses her appreciation to Mara for saving her life and when she asks who those men were who had been chasing her, she states that she has no idea. She recounts how she had escaped after being äbduçted.
A flashback reveals how Aurora had escaped the hideout and fled from her captors. The reckless goons who had been having some fun with you-know-who had been compelled to take a break on account of the incident.
Eduardo and his men went after her in a relentless and ridiculous pursuit but she managed to evade them as she found a hiding spot. When morning came, Aurora continued her journey while Eduardo and his men resumed the hunt for her.
Eventually, she had been spotted by the goons, leading up to the chase all the way to the church. Presently, Mara says she’s relieved that she had been able to get away from those scumbâgs.
Standing above the waterfall, Oscar hopes Aurora is safe and happy wherever she is.
He drops some white lilies into the river which washes over to the banks of the river. Aurora picks them up and gets quite emotional, saying that it’s her favorite flower which only one person used to give her.
Oscar carries on. Ironically, lilies are Mara’s favorite too. Anyway, Aurora recounts her history with Oscar, their separation and the attāçk her father had launched on San Andres. She reflects on what she had gone through.
She brings up the daughter she had lost and gets even more emotional. Mara let’s her take comfort in her and shares some things about her. Aurora then counsels her. Ambo and Elizabeth are relieved when they finally find where Oscar is taking a rest.
They lament over how he had made them worry. Oscar says he just needed some alone time to think but promises to take them along next time. The episode concludes with Mara and Aurora back on the road.
