Lily Outsmarts Renato & Arturo. Lito & The Black Ops Neutralize Ignacio’s Business Associates. Eduardo Wins His Brother’s Heart To Continue His Hidden Agenda.
The episode begins with Lily and Mariano addressing the press. Mariano puts on a pathetic show of being remorseful for his dêspiçable actions. He then pleads for forgiveness. Lily adds to the effect with her acting and manipulative skills, urging the people not to give her enemies the chance to ruin their so-called union/marriage.
While Aurora watches the live broadcast, Oscar thanks the people of San Andres for taking care of him. He’s told that he would have to leave once he fully recovers. Armando whines over how Aurora had chosen Oscar over him.
A series of flashbacks reveal their history and the bad blood between them during their stay in San Andres years ago. Armando’s attempts to get Aurora to notice him had washed out. Presently, Armando blames Oscar for his daughter’s dëâth during the massacre, hence his reason for taking Mara, his daughter with Aurora.
Lily has some of her goons dispose of the Palace employee who had been involved in the scandal with Mariano. Lito plans with Albert and his team on how they would eliminate the business associates of Don Ignacio. They don’t waste time in putting their plan into action.
Don Ignacio decides to have his brother called over to talk to him. He enlists his help with a problem he has with a certain pest. Lucia tries in vain to talk some sense into him, warning him that Eduardo can’t be trusted. Lito and Albert prevail in their sinister scheme, taking out the business partners of Don Ignacio in one way or the other.
Renato and Arturo continue to make a mockery of Lily over the scandal they had orchestrated, ignorant of the fact that she’s beaten them to the chase. Nevertheless, the duo blackmail her to give them her support so they won’t have to vacate their current positions and leave the Palace right away now that they’ve filed for their candidacies.
Don Ignacio asks Eduardo to find out and eliminate the pest who has been grabbing his properties. Meanwhile, Lily fulfils Renato and Arturo’s wishes while still plotting against them.
