Hipolito & Arturo File For Their Candidacies; A Showdown Ensues Between Them & Lily. Mara Returns Home; Cardo Agrees To Grant Her Wish.
The episode begins with Mara sneaking out of the hospital before Aurora can catch her. Aurora goes to see her wretched father who happens to be admitted in the same hospital. She decides to donate blood for him when the need arises.
Albert and his team are delighted with the unveiling of Lito’s protector. Lily sits with them to talk things out and seal their alliance. Albert is determined to prove himself to Lily as worthy of being allies. Hipolito and Arturo hold a press conference to announce their candidacy for the upcoming elections.
Their campaign is that they would restore peace and order in the country once they’re voted into power; Cardo and his group would be the first insurgents they bring to justice. Lily is irritated by their move and won’t go down without a fight. At black ops headquarters, Albert questions Thalia for some information on Cardo and his group.
Armando rallies his men to go in search of Mara and Cardo offers his assistance. However, Mara returns home before they can move out. She explains what had befallen her. In the meantime, Lily proceeds to file for her candidacy with the support of her fake husband/president.
Ellen begins to regret choosing “that idïøt” over her husband because he’s running for vice president. She actually hopes she would be able to make amends and get back together with him. Cardo has a talk with Ramil and Jerome about Armando’s group and what drove them to take up arms.
He states that they’re just like them who are fighting the good fight. Lily engages in a battle of words with Hipolito and Arturo as they strive to woo the people with their blasted campaign. Ellen shows up and much to Mariano’s horror, she ki$$es Arturo and wishes him good luck.
Meanwhile, Cardo finds Mara brooding by herself and he approaches her and thanks her for saving him and his friends. Mara wants them to leave as soon as possible since their presence puts her people in danger. Cardo then promises that they would leave once the others recover.
