Andrei Is Unnerved As Link Telecom Inches Closer To Securing The Government’s Support. Xavier Faces Emilio’s Wrath. Andrei & Camille Come Through For Each Other.
The episode begins with Elvie thanking Paula and Marvi for their contributions for Victor’s hospital bills. She then talks to them about the scene she witnessed earlier when her two sons were talking. She can only hope that Victor would find it in his heart to forgive her for her shortcomings.
At home, Paula has a heart-to-heart with Camille about her life. On the phone, Mr. Mercado tells Andrei that he hasn’t yet signed the contract with Link Telecom so he still has a chance. Andrei asks for some time and Mercado states that eventually, he would choose what’s best for their countrymen.
Camille heads to the counter at reception to pay a part of the bills. Andrei is exasperated to see a promotional post on the internet about the so-called upcoming revolutionary project of Link Telecom.
Xavier gets chewed out by Emilio for being unable to get the needed sponsors for the project until now. Andrei throws a fit upon learning that Link Telecom stands a higher chance of getting Mr. Mercado’s signature.
Later that night, he decides to give Camille a ride home and she talks to him about her family and dreams. They’re caught in traffic in the outpouring rain. Andrei shuts her down when she tries to convince him to patch things up with his father.
Camille then gives him a piece of her mind and ditches him to hitch a ride with someone else. Xavier hangs out with his buddies and ends up getting into a fight that gets recorded. Some scoundrels try to rob Kelvin and the other kids. Kelvin gets hurt as he resists.
Upon arriving home, Emilio lashes out at Xavier for the bad publicity on account of his video. Meanwhile, Paula frets over the whereabouts of her daughter and the other kids. When they finally arrive home, things get quite emotional as they hand over the money they had been able to make for Victor’s hospital bills.
Camille later goes to the hospital, only to learn that the rest of Victor’s bills have already been settled by Andrei. She goes to his place and when she finds him down with a fever, she resolves to take care of him. She then thanks him for his help and promises to pay back in installments.
