The President Endorses Lily As The Next President. Renato & Arturo Plan To Run For Office Together. Lito’s Plan To Usurp Don Ignacio Backfires.
The episode begins with Aurora brooding over how to face her wretched father in his condition after everything. She takes her sweet time getting her luggage and out of the door she goes. In the meantime, Lily manages to convince Mariano to side with her over Renato and endorse her as the future president.
Albert makes a pathetic attempt to fish for information from Thalia. When she resists and clocks one of the officers in the face, she’s taken in officially and grilled for the information they want on Cardo but that turns out to be an epic fail.
Lito meets up with Don Ignacio’s business partners and tries to convince them to do business with him. He however gets ridiculed on account of his infamous botched drug transaction before.
Lily and Mariano put on a show in front of the press to show their fake sympathy and concern for the families of the victims of the hotel de Oriente incident. Lily milks the situation to her benefit. Hipolito and Arturo plan to run as president and vice in the upcoming election.
During a press conference, the fake president endorses his fake wife as the suitable candidate for the presidential election. In order to surpass Lily, Renato urges Arturo to make use of his connection to Don Ignacio.
While Cardo and his group are recovering from their recent close call, Armando announces to his group that they’ve received a new contract to take someone out, much to Mara’s disbelief. Armando claims it’s not for the money but justice. Mariano continues to fool around with both Cassandra and Ellen.
While Armando prepares his men for the job they’ve been given, Ramil and Jerome watch over Cardo and the others, waiting for them to regain consciousness. Mara has an exchange of opinions with Lucas about the missions the group has been undertaking.
