The episode begins with Armando’s group bringing Cardo and Task Force Agila along to their massive hideout. Armando scolds Samuel when he expresses his disapproval of lending a helping hand to the Eagles. He then promises our favorite hero and his comrades his utmost hospitality.
As Mara tends to her mother’s injury, Lolita begins blabbering about how they’ve finally been able to have their revenge on Don Ignacio. Apparently, she’s proud of her daughter for accomplishing the mission she had been raised to fulfill.
Go figure.Samuel grudgingly brings the Eagles the medicine he had been sent for. He then sizes them up before walking away, evidently irritating Ramil who doesn’t pass up the chance to berate him. Anyway, a couple of the guys treat Omar’s wounds.
These guys never learn. Didn’t their parents teach them not to trust strangers? So Armando tells Lolita about his sinister plan to get the bounties on the heads of Cardo and his group. In the meantime, Mara whines to Lucas and Samuel about her misgivings for Cardo and his group.
With Don Ignacio still in critical condition, Lucia calls Aurora on the phone and tries to convince her to come and see her father. Armando makes deliberate efforts to get Cardo and his companions to warm up to him. He assures them that they’re welcome to stay in his mansion for as long as they need.
Cardo notes that he needs to find his grandpa – they have no idea of his whereabouts after they had gotten separated. Lily charges Cassandra to gain Mariano’s complete trust so her plans don’t fail. Oscar decides to return to the town he had grown up in – San Andres, with his companions.
Aurora reflects on a dark chapter in her life and the misery her father had caused her. Meanwhile, Cardo receives a phone call from his grandpa. Delfin tells him that he’s safe in the house of a colonel friend of his, adding that Cardo and the rest of the guys should join him there tomorrow.
Unknown to our favorite hero, the troublesome old man is actually bloodied and being held at güñpoint. A moment later, Cardo prays and hopes that things go in their favor. Mara also broods by herself some distance away.
