The episode begins with Thalia and Lucia bickering outside over the precarious situation of their boss. Hipolito plans to head north with his men in full force in order to have his revenge on our favorite hero and his group.
Meanwhile, Cardo questions Armando about his group and he claims that they’re both alike and willing to fight alongside him whatever his plans are. Hipolito resolves to work with Lily to take down their common enemy, even as Arturo continues to push his buttons and takes delight in doing so.
Mara holds Don Ignacio at güñpoint, itching to finally execute him for his atrocities. Ambo goes into town in search of food and learns of the hostage crisis involving Cardo and Task Force Agila. Arturo returns to the Palace to taunt Lily over siding with Renato.
He gloats when she vows to make him pay. Upon arriving on the crime scene, Albert actually bickers with Thalia and Lucia over how to handle the hostage situation. Arturo is eager for payback against Cardo and his group as he holds them responsible for losing both his daughter and wife.
Hipolito and Lily call a truce to work together to take down their common enemy. Ambo returns to the hideout to inform Oscar and Elizabeth about his discoveries. Victor has a talk with Diana and the others about his mistrust for Armando’s group. Oscar has the ridiculous idea of trying to reach Cardo in spite of the dangerous situation.
While Mariano is fooling around with Cassandra and Ellen, Hipolito and Lily pay him a visit – they’ve come to take him to the north in a bid to compel Cardo and his group to surrender.Grandma Flora is deeply troubled in her spirit and in an attempt to put her at ease, Yolly decides to turn on the TV. While Albert plans out a strategy to take down the infamous fugitives, Diana and co question Cardo’s decision to form an alliance with Armando’s group. Cardo states that it’s the only way for them to get out of their situation alive.
