Oscar & His Companions Receive Help On Their Journey. Lito Plots To Sabotage Renato. Arturo Turns His Back On Lily.
Oscar’s health condition deteriorates and his companions find a spot for him to rest. They try to encourage him as he begins to lose hope. Fortunately, an old man finds them and decides to help them out. Arturo and Renato come to an agreement regarding their alliance.
Ellen and Cassandra have an altercation with each other over Mariano. The fraud refuses to choose between them. Oscar and his companions are taken in by the old man who gives them a place to spend the night and some food.
When asked who they are, they come up with fake names and identities to protect themselves, though they’re grateful for the old man’s help and hospitality. Lily has a talk with Lito about her plan to soil Renato’s reputation in the eyes of the media and the public.
A moment later, Augustus calls to notify her that they’ve found Oscar and co. Lily regroups with her men and deploys them to carry out their job. Ambo and Elizabeth are güñnêd down as they try to escape.
Oscar is beside himself as he lashes out at Lily. He struggles with Augustus for the güñ and ends up getting shot too. The incident turns out to be a bad dream Lily has. She becomes even more determined to capture Oscar. Later, she calls Don Ignacio and convinces him to agree to a business proposal of hers.
The old man tasks Thalia his head of security to plan a safe route tomorrow. Renato looks forward to sealing the transaction he and Jacob put so much into, unbeknownst to him that Lito is already a step ahead of him to sabotage him.
Lito informs Lily about the sudden turn of events, assuring her that he would do everything in his power to make sure that Mr. Parker’s representative chooses them over Renato. Don Ignacio throws a fit when a mayor he had helped get into power refuses to do his bidding.
Lily asks for Arturo’s help with the media to improve her reputation for the upcoming election. Arturo turns her down and taunts her with his alliance with Renato. Lily lashes out at him for betraying her and declares that she would be the one who would succeed and defeat them in the struggle for power.
