Renato Gets Troubled Over Jacob’s Disappearance & Mariano’s Screw up. While Lito Supervises The Drug Deal, Albert Storms In With His Men.
President Hidalgo ponders over his situation and how he needs to find Cardo and his group and seek their assistance to restore peace and order in the country. Renato tends to get worried with Jacob’s sudden disappearance. He decides to return home to see what’s going on.
He gets worked up when he learns of Mariano having a baby with Cassandra. Lily is pretty upset with the recent string of bad news, notably the futile search for Oscar. She’s however glad when Cassandra informs her that she’s already told Mariano about the baby. Arturo sends out a lackey of his to go in search of his estranged wife.
Mariano tries to leave the Palace obviously to go and see Ellen and Cassandra becomes an obstacle as she literally latches on to him. Ellen gets upset when Mariano fails to show up. In the meantime, Albert briefs and riles up his team on their mission to capture Lito.
Mariano sneaks out of the Palace with Cassandra. He then sneaks her into one of the apartments in the house he had bought for Ellen. Ellen comes close to catching them. Thinking he has the advantage, Lito looks forward to the smooth running of the drug transaction, unbeknownst to him that he’s being targeted by the black ops.
He arrives at the rendezvous place for the drug deal while Albert and his team lurk nearby. Lito watches from a safe distance while his men make the transaction with the clients in the warehouse. Ellen remains determined to have Mariano under her control in order to fulfill her and Renato’s plans.
Speaking of, Renato plans to cover up the potential scandal (“the president” having impregnated another woman) so that the incident doesn’t ruin his intention of running for office. Albert and his team storm the warehouse, engaging the goons in a gün battle. Eventually, Lito gets to his car to escape and Albert goes after him.
