Helena’s Scheme Fails As Eloy Succeeds In Winning Over The Potential Business Partner. Ali Meets Up With Her Father Who Seems To Have Ulterior Motives.
Ali reiterates her decision to talk to her father and Margie and the others have no choice but to give their support. Ali then texts Joey to set up a meeting tomorrow. Eloy arrives home late and to help him out with his current situation, he’s shown some top secret information that had been dug up on Mr. Watanabe, courtesy of Red.
He can’t really read it since it’s in Japanese. The next morning, Eloy comes up with a way to communicate with Watanabe. He uses a live translator with the help of Tox on the other line. Helena makes a surprising return as they wait for the shady businessman Watanabe to show up.
Margie goes to confront Joey with Rosales in tow. She vows to hunt him down if he ever makes Ali cry again. Mr. Watanabe finally arrives at Grand Horizon and Eloy and the entire board welcome him. Eloy surprises everyone by communicating with him in Japanese.
Mr. Watanabe asks for a private talk with Eloy, having noticed the fact that he’s been using a translator. Eloy apologizes and when confronted with his criminal record, he explains things. Watanabe relates with him.
A moment later, they rejoin the others in the conference room and everyone is glad, with the exception of Helena when Watanabe agrees to partner with their company. In Japanese, Watanabe warns Eloy about how Helena had plotted against him to fail.
Ali arrives at the restaurant beforehand for her meeting with her father. When the creep finally shows up, she questions him about his criminal history and he laments over falling in with the wrong crowd. Joey blabbers about being remorseful and wanting to make up for his mistakes.
Ali gets up to leave when he asks for her forgiveness but allows the creep to hug her. She then goes to take comfort in Eloy who’s been waiting outside while Margie and Rosales observe nearby. Ultimately, Tox and Fred manage to decode Watanabe’s warning to Eloy about Helena.
