Fred Confronts Helena. Eloy Makes Jill An Unexpected Offer. Ali & Margie’s Painful Past Catches Up To Them.
Fred meets up with Helena and when she asks him for updates, he begins questioning her motives for helping him. Helena tries to make him believe that she doesn’t have any bad intentions for him. Later at the company, Jill informs her about Eloy’s job offer and she urges her to take a list so they can find out the information they have.
In the meantime, Eloy and Ali discuss the day’s activities on their way out.At the precinct, Jay gives his statement about the incident involving Pat. Rosales has him stay a while since Ali wants to meet him.
Ali soon arrives with Eloy in tow and she’s dumbstruck when she sets her eyes on her sister’s savior. After Rosales sends Jay off, Ali painstakingly reveals that he’s her runaway father. She recalls an incident from the past.
A moment later, she arrives home with Eloy and Rosales. They linger outside for a while before going in.After Eloy leaves, Rosales shows Margie a photo of Jay. When Pat identifies him as her savior and guardian angel, Margie blows a fuse, lamenting that the guy is a devil in disguise.
Ali tries to calm her mother down as she breaks down. At the computer shop, Tox tells Red to make their last date special before they end their pretend relationship. Ali tells Pat why she doesn’t trust Jay. Later, Margie talks to Rosales about the time Ali had gone looking for her father in the past.
She recalls how Jay’s illegitimate wife had made a scene outside their house when he had disappeared on her too. Margie had faced the other woman and put her in her place. Red plans to make his last date with Tox memorable, only to realize that it’s expensive to have a girlfriend.
Margie pours out her heart to Rosales about how Jay’s neglect had taken a toll on Ali. Ali comes over to hug her mother, saying that it’s the last time they would cry over “that man” because he’s no longer a part of their family.
