Eloy drops by the Fajardos to see Ali. He asks for updates about his grandpa and she recounts the difficult decision he had made to resign from Grand Horizon tomorrow. Ali urges him to take up the position he had been offered if only he really wants to.
Later, Eloy returns home and Heart talks to him about the offer Hugo had made him.Eloy notes that he’s already made his decision. The dday arrives and Hugo is downcast when Eloy doesn’t show up. Ali tries to cheer him up.
Margie arrives home and she gets really emotional to see that Rosales has spent the night over to take care of Pat after disappearing on him.She apologizes and Rosales relates with her and goes on about how he løves her. Margie ki$$es and hugs him.
While Eloy pays a visit to his mother’s grave, Heart questions Fred about his dealings with Helena and her true motive behind helping him.Hugo arrives at Grand Horizon with Ali in tow. A moment later, Ali confronts Jill over her scheming ways.
After scaring her off, she contacts Red on the phone and reflects on the plan she had come up with with her companions to expose the people out to get Hugo.In the meantime, Red bumps into Evangelista and swipes his wallet after the snacks he had been carrying had spilled.
He demands for him to pay up and follows him to his car where he notices him reading a text message from someone.Hugo confirms his condition to the board and announces his resignation. Painstakingly, he names Helena as his successor just as Eloy arrives at the company. When Jill finds out, she charges reception not to let him inside.
Ali receives a phone call from Red updating her about his findings. When Eloy calls to tell her that he’s downstairs, she hurries out and manages to stop security from kicking him out. Hugo is delighted when Ali brings Eloy into the conference room where the board meeting is going on.
