Hipolito Restores A Semblance Of Order In The Palace. Arturo Cuts Ties With Ellen. Oscar Tells Ambo & Elizabeth Of His Ordeal. Lia Asks For Cardo’s Help In Regards To Audrey’s Mûrdër.
The episode begins with the chaos at the Palace. Arturo still has Mariano at güñpoint, throwing a fit and lashing out at him as the staff try to reason with him. Ellen tries in vain to calm down her irate husband. While Lily casually waits for the inevitable to happen, Hipolito is notified of what’s going on and he hurries over to the scene to restore order before Arturo could expose Mariano’s true identity.
Oscar witnesses the scene secretly, appalled at what’s become of the country at the hands of his enemies. In the presidential office, Hipolito lashes out at Mariano and charges him to shape up. He tries to make him see that Lily has been using Cassandra to ruin them. Ellen makes a really pathetic attempt to reconcile with her husband.
Arturo literally strips her of everything he had given her and completely cuts ties with her. Ellen then goes to seek comfort in Mariano and he gladly decides to shelter her in the Palace. While Lily harbors plans to extricate the real president, Oscar informs Ambo of everything that had happened to him.
Ambo carries him to the storage room and when Elizabeth is brought over and is filled in, she gets emotional. Oscar asks for their help to get out of the Palace and reach out to Cardo for his help. In the meantime, Lia and her family are devastated with the news report about the discovery of Audrey’s dëâd body.
For now, Elizabeth and Ambo help to take Oscar back to the room he had been confined in so that no one would suspect what they’re up to. The doctor goes to check up on the president and notices that the ropes holding him to the bed is loose.
Before he can go and report, Oscar opens his eyes and pleads with him not to blow his cover. Hipolito decides to ban Ellen from the Palace so that she doesn’t become a distraction to Mariano and his plans. The doctor covers for Oscar when Renato comes to ask for updates. Lily leaves the Palace to meet up with Lito.
Meanwhile, Vera calls Fernando on the phone to gloat and offer him a second chance to work for him. Fernando berates him for k!lling his daughter even as he thrëâtens to slaughter what’s left of his family. Ultimately, Lia implores Cardo to help them and the episode concludes as our favorite hero looks on with resolve.
