Fernando Decides To Do The Right Thing After Being Given A Second Chance. While Lia Returns To Headquarters To Give Her Statement, Cardo & Ramil Infiltrate The Place.
Fernando returns home with Vera’s money, somewhat worried that his dealings with him could put his family in danger. He uses the back door in order to avoid getting seen. Lia has a talk with her sister about her miserable failed relationship with Albert.
Amelia decides to forgive Fernando and give him one more chance for the sake of their children, provided he never deceives them again. An argument ensues when Fernando reveals the bagful of money he had kept under the bed.
When Lia and Audrey enter the room and begin questioning him, Fernando laments over how he had been thrëâtened to continue working for a client who’s into drugs and smuggling. Lia and Audrey urge him to cut ties with Vera once and for all before things get worse.
Arturo questions Ellen about her sudden change in behavior and she throws a fit. The next morning, Lia who’s already dressed up in her uniform has breakfast with her family. She later goes to see Cardo’s group who accompany her as agreed.
Cassandra asks her blasted aunt for some advice on how to win Mariano over completely and she urges him to give him everything he wants so she can be ahead of Ellen. On the guise of standing guard at the gate, Cardo sneaks out with Ramil, hell-bent on having his revenge on the black ops, to hell with the consequences.
Albert wonders how Lia had been able to get away from our favorite hero. When Lia arrives at the office, he begins whining about how her father had insulted him and she gives him a piece of her mind. Fernando goes to see Vera to tell him that he can no longer work for him.
Also, he can no longer blackmail him because his family already knows about his dirty secrets. Vera tries in vain to intimidate him. Cardo and Ramil sneak into the black ops headquarters and lie in wait.
Oscar looks forward to regaining more of his strength so he can escape and tell Cardo about his situation. While Diana and the other members of Task Force Agila remain on standby outside, Albert prepares for Lia’s debriefing. The episode concludes with Cardo stalking some black ops officers.
