Cardo Struggles To Make The Right Decision. Ellen Clashes With Cassandra Over Mariano. Task Force Agila Brightens Up As Delfin Finally Wakes Up.
Hipolito talks to Jacob on the phone about his business partnership with Vera. At his daughter’s wake, Vera looks forward to hunting down Lito and Cardo. Fernando makes a futile attempt to patch things up with Amelia as she refuses to hear him out for deceiving her.
While Lia is by herself wallowing in her misery, Cardo comes over to give her moral support and urge her to give her father a second chance. Lily talks to Augustus about her plan to use Lito against Renato. For the sake of their safety, Cardo plans to leave the current hideout with the rest of the group once Delfin regains consciousness.
He’s torn between his desire for revenge against Lia and his sympathy in regards to her situation. At the Palace, Cassandra toys around with Mariano; she ties him up, blindfolds him and begins whipping him to the point where he agrees to grant her wishes. As Ellen forces her way into the room, Cassandra hides behind the bed.
Ellen is appalled to see Mariano who tries to cover things up by claiming that he’s been practicing in case he gets abdüçted. Ellen storms off in disbelief. A moment later, she clashes with Cassandra in the hallway. Elizabeth spies on them as they argue over the president. In his office, Arturo wonders why his wife has been acting strange ever since he returned.
While the Mante family strives to deal with Fernando’s deceit, Elizabeth questions Ambo about Cassandra and Ellen and he tries to convince her to stay out of it. Cardo and Task Force Agila are glad because Delfin has finally woken up. The mood drops when Delfin asks of Teddy and Virgie, and Cardo tells him the bitter truth.
A batch of Lily’s men pledge their allegiance to Lito to fortify his group, acting on the orders of their madame. Lito tries to convince Winston the leader to choose to serve him fully. In the meantime, Hipolito makes another futile attempt to get Arturo to join his side.
After Audrey checks up on Delfin, Cardo goes to thank her for treating him. Delfin expresses her appreciation to Lia since many members of the group wouldn’t have survived without her help. Meanwhile, Fernando sets out to meet with Vera.
