Lily Cooks Up Another Scheme. Hipolito Joins Forces With Vera. Albert’s Childish Stunt Stirs Up Trouble For Lia’s Family & Cardo’s Group.
The episode begins with Lily having a talk with Cassandra about her plan to manipulate Renato and make him think that he’s on his side. Speaking of, Renato coaches Ellen on how to deal with Cassandra. Lito gloats and disses our favorite hero for making his life a little easier by getting rid of Vera’s men.
He retakes control over his mansion. It doesn’t take long for Vera to attäçk with another batch of his men. However, they’re no match for Lito’s reinforced group. Eventually, Vera gets wounded and retreats with what’s left of his men.
At the hideout, Ramil reveals to the group Lito’s history with Renato and how he had ended on his bad side, as well as Vera’s beef with him. Nevertheless, Cardo declares that he has to get to Lito first and make him pay. Vera returns to his hideout in a very foul mood. Soon enough, Hipolito contacts him on the phone to schedule a business meeting.
Lia beats herself up over how she had let Albert play her and her family. Speaking of, the wretched police major is upset because his men have still not gotten any lead on Cardo and Task Force Agila. Hipolito meets up with Vera and asks for them to form an alliance against their common enemies – Lito and Cardo.
A moment later, Fernando also comes to see Vera to tell him that he’s stepping down as his lawyer because he can no longer stomach covering up for his crimes. In a fit of rage, Albert plots to expose Fernando’s dirty secret to his family for disrespecting him. Vera serves Fernando a stern warning, stating that he can’t just leave his organization.
He thrëâtens to k!ll all the members of his two families if he doesn’t cooperate. The members of Task Force Agila deliberate on Lia’s situation with Albert and her being responsible for Alyana’s dëâth. Diana and Victor point out that they can’t get revenge on her after all the help she’s given them.
Later that night, a package arrives for Amelia and she’s devastated when she sees the contents – police reports and other evidence about the other family her husband has. She confronts him and lashes out at him, and so do Lia and Audrey. Lia heads over to the Eagles’ place to pour out her heart and Diana consoles her.
Fernando storms over angrily to blame Cardo and his group for ruining his family. He rants and curses at them. Eventually, Cardo gets upset and tries to face him but his comrades talk him out of it. Fernando then storms away and the episode concludes with Cardo staring as Lia continues to sob.
