Helena’s Plan To Acquire Hugo’s Position Is Thrëâtened By Hugo’s Unforeseen Move. Ali Makes Eloy A Difficult Proposition.
Ali, Bart and Jimmy are briefed by the doctor about Hugo’s condition and recent episodes. They’re told that the old man could spiral into a worse state if he doesn’t recover from his emotional turmoil. At the precinct, Atty. Roma talks to Rosales about her friendship with Sofia.
Ali and co are a little relieved when the doctor states that Hugo has a good chance of recovering. Out of nowhere comes Helena who makes a scene, feigning concern for her brother and even thrëâtening Ali.
At district 11, Eloy bonds with his father as he works on a car. According to Hugo’s instructions, Jimmy gives Ali a document to sign so she can officially become Hugo’s health care agent. That way, no one – not even Helena – could contest how she takes care of Hugo.
Jimmy then shows Ali a video Hugo had made explaining why he had chosen her as his legal guardian; he had entrusted his life to her because she’s like family to him. Ali gets quite emotional and when she brings up Eloy, Jimmy reasons that they can’t be certain if he would accept Hugo as his grandfather because of their history.
Jimmy urges Ali to help Hugo recover quickly, lest he be compelled to reveal his heir in order to save his company. Meanwhile, Helena gladly looks forward to confirming her brother’s illness in order to gain the full support of the board members.
Later at Grand Horizon, Jimmy briefs the board about Hugo’s condition and they request his presence at the next corporate meeting before they’re forced to make some decisions. Ali visits Eloy at home to inform him about the move Hugo had made.
Since Hugo had chosen her at the time he didn’t know about Eloy’s identity as his grandson, she asks Eloy if he’s willing to be Hugo’s legal guardian instead. Eloy decides to talk to Atty. Jimmy before making a decision. Tox breaks down when she sees them together and Red covers things up by saying that they had a løvers quarrel.
A moment later while Eloy escorts Ali to the hospital, Tox and Red are questioned by their løved ones about their supposed relationship. Things get pretty awkward and ridiculous. Meanwhile, Helena keeps up with her pretence.
