Hipolito Takes Control Over President Hidalgo. Cardo’s Group Receives Help From Lia’s Family. Cassandra Schemes Against Ellen.
Diana apologizes for the incident earlier, saying that they don’t have a choice. She urges Amelia and Audrey to resume treating Delfin and the others and they do so. Hipolito forcefully takes control over the private room where Oscar is confined.
He goes to see him, blabbering and taunting him with his sinister plan to usurp him and rule the entire country. Appalled with Renato’s monstrosity, Oscar subconsciously vows not to allow it. He begins to think of a way that he could talk to Elizabeth and Ambo.
After the Mante ladies have stabilized the condition of the wounded Eagles, Diana thanks them again and apologizes for the trouble, adding that they would leave once the guys get better. Amelia, Audrey and Lia decide to move the guys to the storage room tomorrow since there’s not enough space in the main house.
Of course Fernando objects to this and begins ranting and Lia puts him in his place. Lily gloats over the plan she has in mind to outsmart Hipolito. She’s surprised and upset when she learns of how he had taken over custody of President Hidalgo. She goes to confront him and begins thinking of a new plan to recover Oscar from him.
On the phone, Vera talks to Hipolito about his botched attempt to eliminate Lito, taking note of how someone had helped him. Renato gives Arturo the last chance to join his side, saying that he wouldn’t want him as an enemy.Arturo plans to act by himself to take down our favorite hero since both Lily and Renato are too busy prioritizing other matters.
Cardo and the members of Task Force Agila are taken to the old warehouse by the Mantes and they start cleaning up the place. Hipolito talks to Ellen about his misgivings and suspicions toward Cassandra. He charges her to keep an eye on her so she doesn’t outsmart her.
Fernando begins barking again because his family has gone to the extent of cooking for their unwelcomed guests and helping them against his wishes. He tags along as they deliver the food. Fernando asks for their phones to be returned to them so he can attend to his business clients and Cardo snaps at him.
Ellen gets worked up when she receives an anonymous note from Cassandra taunting her with her affair with the president. When Arturo asks what’s bothering her, she comes up with some excuses. Cardo observes his wounded comrades who are still lying unconscious. He hopes that he doesn’t lose anyone again, especially his grandpa.
Diana goes to help out Lia to get some plates for them to eat in. Lia asks why they chose to be on the wrong side of the law and Diana recounts how it had all started all thanks to Lily’s shenanigans. Diana then makes note of how they had all been betrayed by President Hidalgo and the government.
