Ali Becomes Concerned With Eloy’s Actions. Pat Catches Margie & Hugo In A Compromising Situation. Helena Confirms Her Suspicions.
The episode begins with Helena feigning concern about her brother in order to fish for details about Hugo’s condition from the doctors. On the phone, Ali questions Jill’s motive behind informing Helena about what happened to Hugo and she justifies her actions and plays the family card.
Pat returns home to find her mother and Rosales cozying up to each other during their group study. She observes for a moment and takes a photo of them before making herself known. Margie subtly drives her back to her room when she gets too nosy with her questions.
In the meantime, Ali has a talk with Queenie about her friendship with Eloy and how he seems to be avoiding her ever since he got out of jail. When Queenie teases her that she’s probably in løve with the guy, Ali denies it, saying that she’s just bothered with his actions.
Eloy and his buddies discover that Daddy Ays has been sleeping in the computer shop for a while now due to marital problems. Eloy feels responsible when he learns of the details so he takes Ays home with him. The next morning, Ali is delighted when she sees that grandpa Hugo has finally woken up.
After receiving a phone call from the chief, Rosales wakes Margie up so he can leave for the office. Margie refuses to let him go to work on an empty stomach and ends up pouring coffee on his shirt. She then insists on washing his shirt while he goes to freshen up in the bathroom.
Meanwhile, Ali returns to the mansion and the staff is glad to learn that their boss is doing well. As Jill observes casually, they gladly agree to send him some get-well-soon cards. Tino points out how Ali seems to care more about Hugo than his own family.
On this note, they decide to treat her better. Badong tells Ali that he needs to leave for home for an emergency regarding his daughter.When Ali returns to the hospital, she runs into Bart and Jimmy. They all go and see Hugo who’s throwing a fit and trying to get himself discharged from the hospital.
Pat reacts sarcastically when she sees her mother coming out of the bathroom with Rosales. She actually lectures them, thinking that something had happened between them. Rosales explains things to her and assures her that he would never take advantage of her mother. Eloy reaches out to Aryanne (Ays’ wife) and helps in the reconciliation of her and her husband.
At home, Pat has a talk with Ali about how Rosales seems to be a good influence on their mother. Meanwhile, Helena somewhat confirms that her brother has a serious health condition and she plans to make sure that he doesn’t find out the real identity of “the scammer”.
