Hugo Ends Up In A Critical Situation, Getting Ali All Worked Up. Helena Continues Her Schemes With Evangelista & Jill. Rosales Reaches Out To Fred.
Fred expresses his misgivings over the help Hugo had given his son. Eloy can’t seem to understand why his father despises the old man so much. He asks if it has anything to do with Hannah but like always, Fred evades the question and charges him to cut ties with Hugo, saying that he’s only using and manipulating him.
Later, Eloy talks to Rosales on the phone and asks for his help to figure out Fred’s connection to Hannah, suspecting that his father is hiding something from him. Red and Tox spy on Daddy Ays talking to some people and they end up in an awkward position as they try to avoid being spotted.
Meanwhile, Rosales pays Fred a visit in prison and he begins yammering about how Hugo had used his money to sabotage him. Rosales reveals that he’s working with Eloy to get to the bottom of the truth. Fred then charges him to help him get his freedom so he could find who k!lled his wife.
Eloy decides to sell his motorcycle to a client at a discount, insisting on giving Margie a commission for her help. At the mansion, Hugo gets ready to attend a meeting at the office, only to suffer an episode. Ali strives to attend to him and Eloy who’s just arrived to pay the old man back the bail money helps to carry him to the car.
A couple of the board members at Grand Horizon are uneasy because Hugo hasn’t shown up for a while now. Helena calls Jill on the phone to ask for an update. A moment later, she puts on a show as she reveals to everyone how her brother had suffered a stroke and had been rushed to the hospital. Hugo has already been admitted and is receiving treatment.
Ali breaks down as she worries about the old man’s health and Eloy makes it a point to console and calm her down. On video call, Jill tells Helena and Evangelista that she hadn’t found anything suspicious among Ali’s belongings. The conniving duo refuse to believe that Hugo had suffered a stroke from mere stress, suspecting that there’s more to it.
Eloy and Ali check up on Hugo and upon finding him asleep, they discuss Hannah. Ali makes note of how Hannah seems important to Hugo because of his reactions. Eloy takes a sudden leave after recalling how grandma Heart had pointed out the fact that he’s in løve with Ali. In the meantime, Margie gets rid of her face mask and quickly freshens up as Rosales shows up for a visit.
When Rosales enters the room, he asks her for advice about how to gain Fred’s trust. He then comes up with a cheesy excuse to keep her company. Fred ends up in a fight with a fellow inmate, upset that his escape plan had been ruined and his son is now indebted to Hugo. Meanwhile, Helena approaches Eloy at the hospital and puts on yet another friendly performance.
