Hugo Struggles With His Greatest Regret As The Mystery About Hannah Is Revealed. Jill Sneaks Into Ali’s Room. Eloy Comes Clean To Ali Regarding His Mission At The Mansion.
At the mansion, Jill brings her coworkers some snacks as a sign of goodwill. When Ali shows up, she makes it a point to suck up to her. Meanwhile, Eloy tells Hugo that he has no idea where Hannah is. The old man gets upset and an altercation ensues.
Eloy confesses his mission for going to the mansion and incredulous, Hugo denies having a hand in Fred’s incarceration, saying that he doesn’t even know the man. Eloy laments over his father’s incarceration and his mother’s dëâth, wondering who could be helping Evangelista to harass Fred and keep him in jail.
On the phone, Ali talks to Badong and she’s delighted to learn of Eloy’s freedom. Hugo returns home that night and when Ali greets him excitedly, he snubs her and heads into his room where he breaks down. A flashback shows how a younger Hugo had tracked down his daughter after she had disappeared. He tried to compel her to return home with him all to no avail.
Disgusted with how her father had used her to acquire the lands of some commoners, Hannah decided to cut ties with him. Hugo angrily decided to disown and disinherit her. Another flashback reveals the information Bart had found out about Eloy which has a connection to Hugo’s missing daughter, Hannah who is revealed to be dëâd.
Hugo struggles to accept the truth about his daughter’s dëâth.
Ali finds him crying in the washroom and as she consoles him, Jill sneaks into her room and begins snooping around the place. Later that night, Eloy comes over to check up on Hugo following their argument earlier and he talks to Ali about how everything is connected to Hannah. They both wonder who Hannah is as well as her connection to Hugo.
Eloy confesses why he came to the mansion and when Ali asks if he’s been pretending all along, he assures her that everything he showed them was real. At the police station, Captain Rosales asks one of his men to get him all of the files on Hugo and his associates. He plans to find some information on Hannah and get justice for Hugo’s victims.
Grandma Heart bombards Eloy with questions about Ali and whether he would be pursuing her. Eloy states that Ali doesn’t feel the same way about him because she had helped him out on account of her guilt. In her room, Ali reflects on some memories with Eloy.
Later, Fred receives a phone call from Eloy but he doesn’t get to talk to him for long because it’s time for bed. The next morning, Eloy goes with Grandma Heart to see Fred in jail. Fred is happy with his son’s release but is surprised when he finds out that it was Hugo who had settled everything.
