Suspecting A Mole Within His Midst, Hugo Fires One Of His Employees. As Eloy’s Chances Of Acquittal Diminishes, Rosales Makes Him An Offer. Margie Learns Of The Burden Ali Has Been Carrying.
Ali goes to the kitchen and tries to eat a dish on the table but Chubs stops her, saying that it’s for Badong. She’s amused when she sees that Gemma had copied her curly hairstyle. Badong takes a seat at the table with a hangover and Ali makes him a remedy.
After the cooks leave, Badong asks about Eloy, taking note of how he could have gotten the money to pay for his bail had he finished repairing Hugo’s car. Ali brightens up at the sound of the idea and goes to see Hugo to request for an advance payment for Eloy. Hugo turns her down, saying that she should mind her own business – he would only give Eloy the money only if he asks.
Grandma Heart brings Red home and he reunites with Daddy Ays and Tox, the latter in such a dramatic manner. On video call, Margie tries to convince Ali to take the day off and come home. Ali is reluctant to oblige, only for Hugo to come upon the scene and urge her to go home.
The gäñg plans to come up with enough money for Eloy’s bail, even considering selling his motorcycle. Helena calls her brother on the phone to feign concern over what Atty. Evangelista is up to, pretending that she isn’t a part of his schemes. Hugo declares that if he can’t fire Evangelista, then he will remove everyone conspiring with him.
Hugo angrily confronts his staff and demands to know who has been telling other people the things he’s been doing. Jill declares herself innocent so the old man turns to Chubs and Gemma and begins questioning them. When none refuses to come clean, he thrëâtens to fire them.
Chubs then exposes Jill as the snitch and Hugo stares at her in disbelief before firing her. Ali pays a visit to Grandma Heart at home and she receives the note Eloy had written to her. Everyone is troubled to learn of the additional charges Eloy will be facing and Heart manages to strengthen their resolve.
Captain Rosales decides to have a talk with Eloy, irritated over how Tara’s lawyer has been trying to abuse the law by filing more cases against him. Rosales offers to help Eloy out of his situation the legal way. When Ali arrives home, Margie and Pat surprise her with a special welcome home dinner but she doesn’t react to it.
Painstakingly, she tells her mother about how Eloy’s father had been imprisoned because of them. Ali then laments, saying that Eloy might not have been in his current situation if his father wasn’t in jail. Margie is taken by surprise and distressed over how Ali had shouldered the burden alone all this time and now, it’s her turn to carry the burden.
