Ali Strives To Deal With The Weight Of Her Guilt. Helena & Atty. Evangelista Pull A Cunning Stunt.Jill Remains Suspicious Of Hugo. Eloy’s Situation Worsens.
Ali hurries out of the police station, disregarding Captain Rosales’ calls as she boards a taxi. She calls grandma Heart on the phone to talk to her about her grandson. While Red talks to Eloy about his friendship with Ali, Ali returns to the mansion as miserable as before to find Hugo drinking.
She takes the glass from him and laments over how she and her mother had ruined Eloy’s life and dreams because of that fateful accident that had led to Fred’s incarceration. Hugo counsels her and urges her to talk things out with her mother. Back in prison, Eloy tells Red about why he had turned himself in.
Tox calls into the radio løve program the cops at the police station have been listening to non-stop in order to deliver a heartfelt message to her crush. Eloy is fast asleep but the oblivious Red is delighted when he hears it, thinking that it’s about him.
At Grand Horizon, Helena and Atty. Evangelista initiates their cunning scheme to sow discord among the board members and convince them to consider giving Hugo’s position to someone more competent. Ali talks to the doctor about how Hugo had been affected by the recent incidents and she urges her to make sure that he gets enough rest.
Jill makes a pretty pathetic attempt to run Ali out of the house. Ali puts her in her place, stating that it’s only Hugo who can fire her. Jill begins whining and throwing questions at her and Hugo comes out of his study to lash out at them and demand some silence. When Jill starts asking if he’s sick, Hugo gives her a piece of his mind.
He then returns to the study to resume his meeting with his buddy. Jimmy tells him of what had happened at the company. Hugo agrees that the traitorous Atty. Evangelista needs to go before he succeeds with his plans. Evangelista and Helena regroup to bask in the success of the stunt they had pulled in front of the board members.
Jill can’t seem to understand the reason behind Hugo’s over-grumpy behavior.She tries in vain to get Ali to admit that something is really wrong with him. Grandma Heart pays a visit to Eloy and Red at the police station. She tells Eloy about how Ali had called her and seemed worried about him.
Eloy asks an officer for a pen and paper to write a thank you note. In the meantime, Fred receives some pills from a fellow inmate of his which he would take to get sick. When he’s taken to the hospital, he would then try to escape from there. Anyway, Red is released from probation and Rosales asks one of his men to keep an eye on him.
Atty. Roma and her associate have a meeting with Eloy to discuss how the other side had filed additional cases against Eloy to make sure that he rots in prison. Eloy reveals his suspicion of Hugo and Atty. Evangelista having a hand in everything. He also mentions the connection to his father’s case and Atty. Roma states that it will help in solving his own case.
