Ali Feels Guilty At Heart Over Eloy’s Situation. In Spite Of The Help He Receives, Eloy Makes A Surprising Decision That Could Cost Him; Ali Visits Him In Prison.
The episode begins with Ali reeling from the shock of her disturbing discovery. She leaves in such a frantic manner that leaves Grandma Heart at a loss for words. In the meantime, Eloy apologizes to his father for the mess he’s gotten himself into.
Ali reflects on what she had found out. A series of flashbacks following the accident from years ago plays out. Presently, Eloy tells Red not to visit him after he’s released from detention – he and the rest of the gäñg must lie low since Captain Rosales still has his eyes on them.
Meanwhile, Atty. Roma Badayas shows up at the police station to tell Rosales that she’s there to see her client. At the mansion, Hugo asks Badong to drink with him. Badong apologizes for not running a background check on Eloy before recommending him but Hugo couldn’t care less since he had done it himself.
Also, he’s not worried because he believes Eloy can take care of himself. Atty. Roma goes to see Eloy to ask him why she should defend him in court. It’s revealed that she was Eloy’s teacher in law school. Anyway, Eloy answers her question and they begin discussing a strategy to build up their defense.
Eloy is confident that he would be left off with probation because he has no prior records and he had also turned himself in. When Ali is brought up, he states that she’s his friend and won’t be a problem. Speaking of, Ali makes her way to the police station and she runs into Rosales outside. Rosales thanks her for her help in getting justice for Tara.
Ali blabbers about how Eloy is in his current situation because of some incidents from the past. Rosales doesn’t consider this enough an excuse to victimize others. Back inside, Eloy surprisingly declares his intention to plead guilty and take the blame for everything.
Atty. Roma tries in vain to convince him to change his mind, even reminding him that he could be disqualified from becoming a lawyer if he gets convicted. After signing the necessary papers, Atty. Roma asks Rosales and the chief for a fair and quick trial, just as Atty. Evangelista continues to scheme with his cohorts against Eloy.
Red is taken back to his cell and his inmates urge him to have Eloy help them with their cases since he’s a potential lawyer. While Fred begins to consider escaping from prison, Ali pays a visit to Eloy in detention. Eloy apologizes for breaking her trust and promises to make it up to her.
Ali breaks down when she learns that he’s going to jail because he’s already confessed to the crime. Seeing how miserable she is, Eloy urges her not to blame herself for what happened to him because she had only done the right thing. Ali puts up a front and gets up to leave and Eloy reiterates his promise.
