Ramil spies as they talk. Meanwhile, the members of Task Force Agila discuss how to come up with a better plan to find Cardo, much to Virgie’s vexation. Cardo is busy preparing some food in the kitchen when Lia wakes up and tries to escape through the window upstairs. She hurries back to the bed and pretends to be asleep when she realizes that her captor is approaching.
Nevertheless, Cardo soon figures out what she’s been up to and he vows to finish her off if she ever tries to escape. Albert receives a phone call from Arturo who expresses his disappointment in him and his team for constantly failing to fulfill the task he had given them.

When Cardo notices the caretakers coming over to clean up the house, he goes into hiding and hurries upstairs to stop Lia from giving him away.
He holds her at güñpoint and hides with her in the washroom before the caretakers enter the bedroom to clean it. Lito gives Ramil a talking-to for failing to show up at his business meeting with Renato and Jacob and he informs him of his unfavorable history with them.
Ramil urges Lito not to tell Renato about Cardo just yet so they could pit both of their groups against one another. Later after the caretakers have left, Cardo drags Lia back to the bedroom and he indulges her when she begins blabbering about his crimes and how he’ll pay for them, especially for k!lling Clarisse.
Our favorite hero makes note of Arturo’s monstrosity and laments over how he had been paid with evil for all of his sacrifices and loyalty to the law. He then reflects on the dëâths of his beloved son and wife, ultimately stating that Lia doesn’t know the kind of people she’s working for.
In the meantime, Roxanne has a heartfelt conversation with Victor about their cause and her worries for the group. Ramon doesn’t know who to side with between Cardo and Lito and Teddy urges him to choose the latter because of how much he’s supposedly helped them.
Lia broods by herself and begins to wonder if Cardo has been telling the truth all along. Meanwhile, Cardo second-guesses his quest for vengeance, not wanting to drag more innocent people into danger.
