Mariano Reports Back To Renato. Ramil Impresses Lito & Gets On Vito’s Bad Side. Lily Initiates Her Plan To Entice Mariano With Cassandra. Cardo Puts Lia In Her Place.
The episode begins with Mariano arriving in his room where Ellen has been wanting for him. With such confidence, he talks to Renato on the phone and assures him that everything had gone according to plan – he had used his position as the president to thrëâten and intimidate the secretary of justice to do their bidding.
Renato couldn’t be more pleased. While the Eagles discuss their plan to search for Cardo in town, our favorite hero braces himself when Lia’s subconscious moaning draws the attention of the caretakers/couple.
Fortunately, they leave in fear and do not go up to investigate because the wife thinks the house is haunted. Ellen rejects Mariano when he tries to get romantic with her because of how he had entertained Cassandra earlier.
She storms out of the room and has an encounter with Lily on her way out of the mansion. The caretakers return to their place and upon seeing the newspaper headline of Cardo’s supposed dëäth during the encounter with the black ops, they discuss it, with the husband a firm believer in our favorite hero.
Lia finally regains consciousness to find that she’s been handcuffed to a chair and is being held at güñpoint. Cardo has an exchange of words with her, ultimately vowing to deal with her once she fully recovers.
In the meantime, Lito hangs back with Lara while Ramil goes to meet the client with Salvador. Ramil trades the merchandise for the money and when he realizes that Mr. Chen has planted a bømb in the bag of money, he takes action and manages to take him and his goons down, saving Salvador’s life in the process.
Lito is impressed when he learns of what had transpired and he declares that Ramil is now one of them. When he returns to the mansion, he lashes out at Vito who had failed in another transaction he had tasked him with.
Following Ellen’s rejection, Mariano sends Ambo to go and buy him some fashionable clothes in order to catch Cassandra’s attention. Lia recalls how Cardo had refrained from k!lling her during the encounter at the hotel. Cardo brings her some food he had prepared for her to help with her recovery. He indulges her when she gives him an attitude.
Lily charges Cassandra to do everything to distract Mariano and get him attached to her. Vito is upset over how Lito had humiliated him earlier and lorded Ramil over him. Together with Salvador, he goes to confront him. Gúñs are drawn and words are exchanged and Lito calls for order when he comes upon the scene.
He dares Vito and Salvador to take their share and leave the group if they no longer trust his decisions. Lily charges Augustus to make sure that no one interrupts Mariano and Cassandra whenever they’re together. While Cardo is eating downstairs, Lia makes a pathetic attempt to break free of her restraints.
Mariano eagerly sneaks into Cassandra’s room with a drink and two glasses. Lily is delighted to see how he has become obsessed with Cassandra so soon. Meanwhile, Lia continues her futile attempts to break free and the episode concludes as Cardo catches her in the act.
