Renato Comes Up With The Perfect Plan To Ensure His Freedom. Lily Cooks Up A Scheme To Steal Mariano From Ellen. While Cardo Remains Conflicted In Hiding, Lito Decides To Put Ramil To The Test.
Cassandra is eager to accomplish the challenging task she had been given by her rotten aunt. Lily assures her that if she’s able to entice Mariano away from Ellen so she wins the presidency, then she would be rewarded handsomely. Speaking of, Ellen compels Mariano to set up a meeting with the secretary of justice regarding Renato’s case.
Cardo hides when the caretakers come into the house to clean up the place for their boss who could be arriving any moment from now. With such grievance, Cardo resolves to treat the wounds of Lia and when she finally regains consciousness, only then would he finish her off to avenge his wife.
Lara’s buddies who had gotten their a$$es kicked are eager to get back at our favorite hero but Lito wants to focus on their business for now since Cardo is nowhere to be found. Ellen catches Cassandra snooping around her husband’s office and she lashes out at her and kicks her out of the room. Delfin has a talk with the guys about Lito’s visit earlier. They plan to go and find Cardo in order to get to the bottom of the truth and keep him safe.
In the meantime, Cardo manages to sneak out of the house unnoticed, save for the dog who barks occasionally. Anyway, he sneaks into the caretakers’ place to get some supplies.Acting on Lily’s orders, Cassandra finds the opportunity to go and talk to Mariano in his room to fish for information Lily could use.
Mariano indulges her as she flirts with him. Meanwhile, Lily also plans to obstruct Renato’s freedom, unbeknownst to her that the Vulture is in cahoots with Ellen and Mariano to usurp her. When Ellen catches Cassandra in Mariano’s room, they come up with a cover up story.
After Cassandra leaves, Ellen scrutinizes Mariano before giving him the speech he needs to memorize for his meeting with the secretary of justice. Cardo treats Lia’s wounds, not one to attäçk the defenseless.Lito decides to test Ramil by putting him in charge of a business transaction with one of his clients, a form of initiation into his group.
Lara isn’t happy when she learns of this. Since Ellen always leaves for home in the evenings, Lily decides to let Cassandra stay in the Palace so she would have an edge over Ellen and make it easier for her to steal Mariano from her. Ramil resolves to grant Lito’s wish in spite of figuring out the kind of business he’s into.
The client plans to get rid of Lito and take over his territory, unknown to him that Lito won’t be meeting him personally. While Lily runs her mouth to Oscar about what she’s been up to, Mariano puts on a hell of a show to compel the secretary of justice to accelerate Renato’s freedom.
