Hugo Outsmarts Atty. Evangelista. Eloy Bonds With Ali & Ends Up In A Difficult Situation. Tara Resurfaces For Justice Against Eloy.
Ali and Eloy arrive at the golf club a little early with Hugo and not wanting to lose his winning streak to Jimmy, Hugo decides to go and train for a while before his buddy arrives. While Evangelista informs Helena about Eloy’s connection to the hotel theft case, Jimmy calls Ali on the phone to tell her that he won’t be able to make it because he’s not feeling well.
Ali notifies Hugo and he agrees to let Eloy play with him instead. In no time, Eloy goes to change into a proper attire that matches Ali’s. For a moment, Ali is transfixed by his appearance. Anyway, Hugo plays a game with Eloy before they all go on a tour of the golf club.Ramon shows up and begins questioning the old man about the company and his health.
Eloy and Ali try to run interference. As Heart pays a visit to Fred in prison, Hugo sees through the nosy attorney and his companion and makes a deal with them – he’ll answer all their questions if they win a golf game against him. As expected, Hugo beats them with Eloy as his partner much to Ali’s delight. Later, the three decide to have a celebratory dinner.
Ali opposes the food they order for the sake of Hugo’s health but she gets outvoted by Hugo and Eloy on the matter. Having noticed how Tox gets jealous at the mention of Eloy and Ali, Heart questions her about it. Tox denies it, acting all jittery. Heart presses for an answer and Tox lies through her teeth, saying that it’s Red that she has a crush on.
Red who’s been eavesdropping all along is taken by surprise. After Hugo goes to use the washroom, Eloy and Ali share a moment and a heartfelt conversation about themselves which Hugo happens to observe unnoticed. Heart is skeptical and Tox lamely tries to convince her of her claim. Red slips away before he can be seen when his cellphone rings.
Ali asks Eloy if he’s really the culprit of the hotel heist and he painstakingly denies it, which for obvious reasons makes Ali glad. Tox reflects on some memories with Eloy, telling Heart to keep his supposed crush on Red a secret. Margie goes to see Rosales at the precinct to give him a gift for helping her out the other night.
Later, Tara rears her ugly head in the company of her lawyer, hell-bent on getting Eloy jailed for swindling her. When Rosales asks why she had disappeared before, she evades the question. It seems they have enough evidence to issue an arrest warrant. Eloy is downcast on account of the lie he told Ali. Eventually, he steals the key to Hugo’s main cabinet at the mansion.
